Hey Everyone,

Also----I can't remember who exactly was bringing the markers....I think it was one of our many DIS friends with "Magic" in their names....but I can't remember who. So if you're reading this and YOU are the marker-fairy...then PM me. I just want to coordinate when/how to get the markers from you, etc.

The marker - fairy! I love this! it goes with the bratty fairy. :lmao:

I have the dry erase markers all set and ready to go. I am bring a few extras in case these grow wings and fly away. They are in the carry on bag, we plan on going to the port early and we will be on the lookout for you. :)

Cool, we have an OT and a PT crusing with us? Great! I just started PT this week for a pinched nerve in my lower back. I'll be looking for your with some help if it gets too bad!

Crissi

And many nurses! We're a built-in clinic on a boat :thumbsup2

Denise and I are bringing the pharmacy with us just in case!:thumbsup2

Crissi

I do this too!!! I have asprain, Tylenol, Advil, Allergy Pills, Contact Lense stuff, Bandaids, Pepto, Tums, Ear drops, Wax, Cold pills, Bug Bite relief, Sunburn Solar Gel.. etc etc.. Never know what you may need..

Thanks all for the support during Alex's illness. One more surgery when we get home, and hopefully the kidney issue will stabilize.

I still need dress shoes for two kids, and then to finish packing. We leave early (first Southwest flight out) on Wednesday.

Dh is getting jealous, poor guy.

Ok this might be a dumb question, but I'm putting together our itinerary and is there a phone number that I can give family if they need to get a hold of us on the ship for any reason?

Found it on the website (888) 322-8732. I remember someone mentioning it was really expensive per minute charged to your onboard account but I do not remember how much.

Oh yea...

Today at Chik Fil A, I *almost* grabbed a handful of mayo packets for FatCat, but then I'd have to explain to my IRL friends why I was hoarding mayo, what the DISboards are, what a FE is, and why I'm taking mayo on the cruise:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh, and my husband...he would want to know why I was taking mayonase to a stranger-man on the boat. bwaaa ha ha ha ha

My co-workers have beat you to it. There are several packs of mayo at my desk.

I believe they can just call DCL. Give the boat name and sailing date.
I recall reading the procedure somewhere

 I know how horrible ear infections are...I've had plenty. I remember one infection that was an inner and an outer infection at the same time and it was horrible I had pain all of the way from my ear to my jaw...then my ear drum burst! :scared1: Then came the ringing in the ear...fun times. I really hope he gets better soon!

Forgot to say I hope he feels better real soon.

All the above is correct but if someone stateside calls you they get the bill. I know because my dad called when my sister died and we never got a bill. Once I knew there was a problem I used my cell phone to communicate at a cost of about 4 dollars a miniute but that is less than the 7 dollars for ship to shore. I hope no one needs this number this cruise. Lois

What food or food storage containers are not permitted?

Food coolers containing personal snack foods and drinks may not be brought on board. They are only permitted if needed for medications, baby food or items related to special dietary needs.

Homemade, pre-cooked or other perishable items plus any open snack containers cannot be brought on board. Limitations on permitted food items are directly related to concerns for food safety and contamination prevention.

Bottle warmers are not permitted on board due to safety concerns. However, should you need hot water, Crew members can bring it from the kitchen, or you can request hot water to be delivered to your stateroom at any time from Room Service.

Alcohol is permitted onboard. However, be aware that any fragile items (including bottled alcohol) must be hand-carried on board in a day bag and/or carry-on bag, the dimensions of which cannot exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep. Guests who request a Wine Steward to open and serve a bottle of champagne, wine or liquor that has been brought onboard will be charged a corking fee of $15.00 per bottle.

Please be advised: Disney Cruise Line® reserves the right to remove fragile items (including beverages) from luggage. In such cases, items will be stored and returned at the end of the voyage. Beverage containers are considered fragile and have previously caused damage in checked luggage.

The shirts look great!!! If you want to make the Mickey heads more pronounced, get a bleach pen. I made little hatch marks around my Mickey head pattern after my tie-dye attempt was a big blob. The bleach pen worked great & saved our Mickey head shirts. That being said, I think they look awesome the way they are!!

Thanks, Heather!! I have a bleach pen in my stamp room ..... If I get time before the cruise, I might just have to do that.

Now its time to get those photos off the hard drive and onto a DISK!!!!!:woohoo:

Yep ... need to do that.

And many nurses! We're a built-in clinic on a boat :thumbsup2

That's a *good* thing. And ... so good to know.

We're all gonna need it since everyone is sick or hurt... including us.

Yeah ... dd just told me her ear hurts. Birthday party on Saturday .....

That will add to my intensive list. My mom is even thinking of bringing cough medicine. :confused3

My co-workers have beat you to it. There are several packs of mayo at my desk.

ROTFL!!!! That's just funny.

Oh .... and for those that care ... the Rock was not at the recruiting station when we dropped by there. No pictures. :confused3 Oh well. I guess ds is off the hook for the extra bashing in PT. :)
