Get this... I told DH that the 2010 dates will come out around Oct 7th.. 3 days AFTER we get off the Magic.. and what did he say about it?? Well we can book a 3 night wonder while on the ship for November and THEN book the 2010 dateS!!

I want more info on the book. I'm always looking for things like this for my mom. She's a breeder (I know...breeder's are bad..but she is a VERY responsible breeder and her dogs are litterally like family to her).

Breeders aren't automatically bad. Depends on how they go about things. Responsible breeders, especially those who actually show to ensure their animals are in keeping w/the breed standard, are just fine. That way they are less likely to breed animals that should NOT reproduce (tempermant, genetic disorders, etc.). Its the folks who won't fix their animals to get 'just one litter' out of them that really annoy me.

In other news, I got something exciting in the mail today: a book! A book that I am a featured author in! My first book!!!!!!! I don't get any royalties from it, so I hope it's ok if I talk about it here. Anyhow, it's a book or inspirational pet stories, and a portion of the proceeds goes to animal charity. I'm very excited. If anyone is interested, I'll post more info. Or you can PM me. I swear, I don't get any kickbacks from it, I already got paid a year ago when I submitted the story

Anyone arriving to port late? I *think* I've decided that we'll take the DCL bus from the resort to the port and the bus doesn't leave until around noon - so I'll won't probably get checked in and be on board before 1:30 or 2 or something. I have the CR booked with the MK view so I'm going to try to enjoy that for a few extra hours!

I think this is correct. We wanted to stay at CR and was told it was not a DCL Resort (i.e., you could not catch the bus there and would have to schlep your bags either to the Poly or to the GF). That is why we switched to the Polynesean. In any event, we will be with you on the bus ariving to the port a little later.

Well...a bit of good news....

My new luggage came in the mail yesterday!! Now I can start packing!


Also, I'm one of the newest NHL 'cheerleaders'. I'll be a member of the Washington Capitals Spirit Squad this year. (Go Caps!) It's not Exactly cheerleading or a dance team, but we'll be doing a lot promotional things throughout the arena on game days. So, I'm going to be pretty busy preparing for the season before the cruise (preseason starts on 9/25, and we leave 9/26). Hopefully I still have time to pack!

Hi Everyone,

Haven't posted for a while but I have been trying to keep up with all the posts! It's almost time and I know we are all excited

I had two questions...do you think they will broadcast the Red Sox vs Yankees game on the Dumbotron or in one of the bars? They are scheduled to play on Saturday and Sunday while we are on the cruise. We are big Red Sox fans so it would be great to watch the game (on the Dumbotron would be awesome). Are there any other Red Sox fans in the group?

Also, we are planning on getting to the ship around 10:00am. Leaving the CR around 9:00am using Fl tours.

Where do we meet again to get the lanyards.. or do we just pick them up at the DISmeet before the muster drill?

I've been busy sewing like a crazy woman! I also finished all our shirts (iron on's) except our DDD ones for the group photo. I was behind washing the whites and had to wait. They are washed now and I'll get them ironed in the morning. This will take care of a lot of our packing!

I had a fun conversation with Shirly from A Perfect Gift this morning. I've ordered a couple of baskets to be delivered to the room and she actually knew who I was from all the FE's I've made! She was almost as excited to talk to me as I was to talk to her! She is even letting me send the kids pillow cases to her to add to their basket! FUN FUN FUN!

The love bugs look discusting! Thank you for the info about the car paint. We will have to be sure and have the car washed before we leave it at the port. Do you think it would help to wax the car good before we leave home? I'm sure Doug won't mind if I add that to his list. . .

Sadly, I don't think we will be rebooking on the cruise because we already have a cruise booked in '09. Doug just doesn't get the whole planning ahead thing. Although I am going to stop by the rebooking desk and see if they will give me any insight about the Magic going through the Panama Canal again. I've already warned Doug that I would like to be on the Magic the next time it goes through the Panama Canal!

I used W81000, pick up sept 26 at 7pm, drop off sept 27 noon, I got a full size for36.65, what dates are yo8u looking at?

Sadly, I don't think we will be rebooking on the cruise because we already have a cruise booked in '09. Doug just doesn't get the whole planning ahead thing. Although I am going to stop by the rebooking desk and see if they will give me any insight about the Magic going through the Panama Canal again. I've already warned Doug that I would like to be on the Magic the next time it goes through the Panama Canal!

We just had a freaky car accident. We were backing out of a parking space in a lot in Manalapan NJ and the front bumper caught on the stand alone concrete on the ground and pulled off the entire front bumper of our 2000 Nissan Altima....

Wow! I'm just so glad no one got hurt! When I read "accident", I was holding my breath!

I think at this point a panama canal crossing would be the only one we would book, I already told dh if we have to sell a kid to afford it I would do it I would make money and have one less kid to pay for Just kidding, but I really want to go thru the canal
