Sadly, we never got snow up here. I was really hoping to see some flakes, but nope...nothing.

*sigh* snow....I've seen snow ONCE here in Louisiana.....the whole state shut down for 3 days...but man was it fun. Of course that was in December....so there is no way we'll have snow this early. I'll just be happy to have cool weather for Friday night.

Our local forecast (Los Angeles area) - HOT, HOT, and HOT! It was 93 degrees over the weekend, and *might* dip below 80 today (I'm betting not).

Kimberly, I thought of you last night at the Lakers' season opener - they played the Blazers, to much fanfare about your OSU boy Greg Oden finally beginning his NBA career. He lasted less than ten minutes before leaving with ANOTHER injury. That poor guy!!! X-rays were inconclusive so he's having an MRI today... after missing all of last season, he must be thinking he's jinxed at this point.

NINETIES?!! Oh heck you can have that! I ahd to get my real winter coat out this morning. Ya know...the full-length & fuzzy inside type. The upside to cold weather is you get to pull out all those yummy sweaters and sweatshirt as well as grab a cozy blankie for yourself on the couch.

Poor Greg...I cannot even imagine how upset he has to be right now.

Time to start dreaming of the next trip. For me the next cruise is just too many days away. I really want to wait to be able to do at least 21 days again but not sure I can do that. I want to go now NOT 3 or 4 years from now. God help me, I am hopeless.

Sorry Jen and the other Tampa fans! I do feel badly for them because it is so cold up here! They must have been freezing!

Anyway, Dave's birthday dinner was really nice tonight. My family came down and we had a wonderful dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger with Dave's family. Dave's family is so much fun and I was so happy that my family was there to celebrate with everyone! And we made it home just in time for the last inning of the game!

Will keep you posted the meet is scheduled for March 14th at DL we still can't decide if we are going to spend the whole week in your great state or make a quick stop off in Vegas.
