Well I spread out all of the FE gifts to take a photo...okay....it took 4 photos to get it all! It was fun to open up some of the packages that were filled with lots of goodies. It was like Christmas all over again! Here are a few related comments/questions:

  [*]I don't remember who had a neat idea of giving the Mexican jumping beans. I must ask...just how disturbing was a box full of those little boxes of beans? I remember we ended up putting the box in our safe because the click-click of the beans jumping in its carrying case drove us nuts!​

Did anyone take pictures of the menus? I don't know why I didn't as it did cross my mind. I'm kicking myself now as I look at all the food photos I have. I included a suggestion on my survey card that they should sell the menus in a package for a souvenir....I would buy it!

It was, but I enjoyed sitting beside you and your cruising friend at lunch one day just as much!!

We did too! It was a great chat - our cruise friend enjoyed meeting you as well!!!

The pics are awesome! I think it would be great if everyone just posted a few pics here and there, I love seeing the photos other people took and it's fun just to see all of the DISers! We totally took over that ship!

That is so true, we were a unique group - I really already miss all you guys

"Don't you worry! I have it already taken care of!" as I pulled out an index card. They laughed at me because that was "so me"! Our was "Welcome to the three generation Double Dip Delighters, Ruth, Linda, and Kimberly."

I can only aspire to be so organize - but I may "borrow" this idea!!

We are on the 10/10 with you. Have had it booked for over a year!!!

Looking forward to another cruise with you! Guess we have a whole other year of chatting ahead!

Here we are at the Poly lobby playing around on Friday. For the last week or so before the cruise someone in the family would say, "Who want's to go on a Disney Cruise?" And we would all raise our hands. We did this a few times on Friday and several times someone behind us would yell, "Me!".

Okay...I thought this was Val and her family, but she told me it isn't! Oops! Who's the family in the matching Crocs? I saw you from our verandah, with lanyards on, coming back to the Magic on Friday. The USC t-shirts should be a clue, but I'm at a loss.

Did anyone take pictures of the menus? I don't know why I didn't as it did cross my mind. I'm kicking myself now as I look at all the food photos I have. I included a suggestion on my survey card that they should sell the menus in a package for a souvenir....I would buy it!

Check with Amy - she took pictures of all the menus (including the inside). Couple of times when we received our dinners and weren't quite sure of something on the plate, she would check her camera and tell us exactly what we ordered!!

I'm sure she would happily share.

We indeed took over the ship, too! I had many people stop me asking about what group we were with with the logo t-shirts and lanyards. In fact, the CM who greeted us when we got on the ship (we were in Group 3) asked about what group we were with as she stared at our t-shirts! She said she had heard of us! Little did she know that the army had just started embarking!
haha same here.. asked if we were part of a reunion a few times.. then told them about the dis LOL. E even told someone one time.

Speaking of embarking, Drea, what did you decide on for your entrance announcement?

being the moron I am.. totally forgot about it till 2 seconds before they called our boarding # and Tonya said so what did you deceid for them to say.. OH CRUD.. so it was just the McCulloughs from Sunny Cali. Then I forgot to record it so caught the last of them clapping.. good thing we are going on another one so i can be more prepaired LOL

That's my nephew Trevor and DS Dexter with our vegetable car from the final Mickey 200. We hadn't planned to participate but when we stumbed upon it the kids thought it sounded fun so we jumped in. I *really* wanted them to win their first heat... and they ended up making it all the way to the finals, and coming in SECOND PLACE overall! I couldn't believe it! I used the knife and positioned the wheels, but otherwise the car was 100% the kids' - they designed and built it. It wasn't much to look at, but obviously it was pretty fast! Not bad for a 7yo and a 6yo. We were almost late to the group photo because we kept winning heat after heat.



(And no, I didn't know anything about the Mickey 500 when I made the boys appliqued Mickey-head tees with checkered flag material... that shirt goes with Lightning McQueen shorts I made. Just a happy coincidence... although Trevor was convinced that his "racecar shirt" was the deciding factor in our Mickey 200 prowess.)

  haha Ya i dont think anyone opened them up till after the cruise. I should have said something.. aww well I had one family give me the temecula one back so i can mail it back to them (as soon as I get unpacked (yes were still living in suitcases LOL) its on its way)

Tiffany, did you make your daughter's Aurora dress? It looks just like the one I made for my DD 2 years ago. The entire time I was making it, I was muttering "sew simple my ***!" That collar was a PITA, and I'm a fairly experienced sewer.
