Here's my last bit of group-like photos that I'm going to post here. These were all taken before our group photo on Thursday.

THANK YOU AGAIN, DENISE, AND CRISSI, FOR SETTING THE GROUP PHOTO OP UP WITH SHUTTERS!! BTW, you still need to let me know how much $$$ you need from me for the sitting fee!! It would be completely wrong for you guys to eat the cost up, so don't be shy in telling me!

I'm not sure but my plan is to go through that stuff this weekend and figure out what is what. I remember the glow sticks though (saved my hide....I forgot to pack some for our little guy).





awwhhhh we miss you guys as well. Everytime I go through our photos with someone I just keep thinking "man I wish those guys live closer". DH is talking about a trip to the moutains next summer to try to see you guys

We are planning another 7 night in 2010 but my thing is that I just want another CC double dip. Actually we wish that DCL would just do a 7 day that sailed in the ocen then goes to CC every other day

Let us know when you head to the mountains of NC (anyone else????) and we will try and meet up. It is absolutely gorgeous here now with the leaf change. I used to take it for granted since I have always lived here but the older I get the more I enjoy it.

I would so be on a cruise that went to CC every other day. That was definitely the highlight of the cruise. I have been to other's private island and Disneys is the best by far. The most amazing thing we noticed (crazy but true) was the fact that there were no, one not, flies while we ate at the outdoor BBQ. Every other island we have been on has had crazy flies and chickens running around eating the scraps but none of that on CC. It was wonderful. Miss it already. Yesterday I kept saying, this time last week I was on CC.

If I recall correctly, it was organized back in March or April so the fax request could get in on the very first day they allowed the request to come in for that sailing.

...I think it would be great if everyone just posted a few pics here and there, I love seeing the photos other people took and it's fun just to see all of the DISers! We totally took over that ship!

I agree! GammaRee emailed me a couple of pics yesterday, and they got me all excited! I would love to see more of our Double Dip Delighters!

We indeed took over the ship, too! I had many people stop me asking about what group we were with with the logo t-shirts and lanyards. In fact, the CM who greeted us when we got on the ship (we were in Group 3) asked about what group we were with as she stared at our t-shirts! She said she had heard of us! Little did she know that the army had just started embarking!

Speaking of embarking, Drea, what did you decide on for your entrance announcement?

I had the video cam running as we approached with DM and DGM in front of me. When they noticed others being announced, they asked "What familly should we say?" (being we have 3 different last names). "Don't you worry! I have it already taken care of!" as I pulled out an index card. They laughed at me because that was "so me"! Our was "Welcome to the three generation Double Dip Delighters, Ruth, Linda, and Kimberly."

O Kimberly I wish I had thought of the index card idea also because we also had 3 different family names we had them all confused when we said we wanted them to announce all three names at once the CM just couldn't handle it so the girls, J and I were announced than Will and last Gabe but they couldn't prounce his last name so he was announced as Gabe!!! We laughed all the way to Parrot Cay over that!!!

I can't believe how few photos I took - just over 200 for a nine-day trip. That is unprecedented for me! I expected to take five times that many! And most of them are of Celeste, who ended up being my constant shadow on the trip.

Here's my contribution for the day:

That's my nephew Trevor and DS Dexter with our vegetable car from the final Mickey 200. We hadn't planned to participate but when we stumbed upon it the kids thought it sounded fun so we jumped in. I *really* wanted them to win their first heat... and they ended up making it all the way to the finals, and coming in SECOND PLACE overall! I couldn't believe it! I used the knife and positioned the wheels, but otherwise the car was 100% the kids' - they designed and built it. It wasn't much to look at, but obviously it was pretty fast! Not bad for a 7yo and a 6yo. We were almost late to the group photo because we kept winning heat after heat.

(And no, I didn't know anything about the Mickey 500 when I made the boys appliqued Mickey-head tees with checkered flag material... that shirt goes with Lightning McQueen shorts I made. Just a happy coincidence... although Trevor was convinced that his "racecar shirt" was the deciding factor in our Mickey 200 prowess.)

We are home. It was the best trip ever. Thanks for all the fish extender gifts and the lanyards. You are truly the best people to travel with. We have made some new firends and had the best time. Castaway Cay is the best and the service on the ship rocks. We booked on board and are not sure when we will sail again. I need to catch up on the boards and unpack.

Happy Saturday all. I am still feeling crappy.......called the Dr. yesterday and he called me in a Z-Pak to get rid of this! Here is my contributon for today for pictures...........Denise's and my kids and our servers........Asst. Server Valerie and Server Ivan. Can you tell DS Erik had just finished yet another Mickey Ice Cream bar? They were awesome! We wanted to take them home with us. Their service was excellent.........they cut up the kids food and even shelled our shrimp and lobster for those who ate it!

Our servers Dean & Guidien were really great. But the service in general was just sooo slow. We enjoyed the food but it took about 1 hour 45 min everynight to complete dinner.

We did the XCaret excursion in Cozumel and had a horrible experience. We met in the theater at 9:15am and didn't get to XCaret until 12:45pm and then were told to meet back at 3:30pm. $105.00 p/p just to be rushed through the river and eat a nasty hotdog! Wish we would've did the excursion on our own.

DS 7 enjoyed the oceaners club at first but got bored after three days.

Thanks to everyone for the great F/E gifts. DS really enjoyed looking to see what was new, and also passing them out.

We were with you on the excursion and the money they refunded did not even close to make up for the bad excursion. Were you on our bus (the one they held until everyone got armbands?) All we did was the river and eat and go back... PLUS since we were not actually in the park for 3 hours, we could not get our photos of the river excursion and that was the only reason we went.... My DH was very upset.
