2027 Member Cruise

I ended up waitlisting as all the verandahs were sold out. Only had a porthole available on deck 2 and some inside staterooms left about 30 minutes ago. Anybody have experience waitlisting a member cruise? Where do I go to see if it ever goes through or do I just wait for a call that most likely will never come. What a fun way to spend 6 hours on a Saturday.

Got picked up and put back in again about 20 minutes ago. I'm expecting all the veranda cabins to be gone before they get back to me.
I finally got through and was told everything except the inside categories are sold out. I was hoping for at least an oceanview, but hopefully the deluxe inside won't be horrible.

Yes, I've had a wait-list come through. Did you at least book something for now?

The way it works is that if someone cancels, MS will go down the list contacting folks about the available room. The person at the top of the list gets contacted first, via email, with information about the availability and they'll have a couple of days to call back and claim it. When it happened for me, the $95 modification fee was waived. If you don't call during the allotted time, they'll contact the next person on the list. Plans change and people do cancel, so I hope you'll have good luck.

Thank you so much for all the details, really appreciate knowing the process (surprised I don't have at least an email regarding a waitlist)...no did not book as my SO did not want to spend 7 days without a verandah as he gets claustrophobic without it.

Well, no verandas? Should I just hang up or wait for DVC to tell me I've wasted 6.5 hours of my day? This trip was to celebrate husbands retirement and 68th birthday. What else should we do with our $9000 not going on this cruise?

Maybe there is still an inside stateroom available if you are willing to stay in one. I am so sad as I was looking forward to this with it being the Star Wars 50th anniversary and the stop in San Francisco had me hoping it would be Star Wars related. A birdie told me that this cruise would be heavily influenced by Star Wars. Not sure if that is true but it sure seems very possible.

Now all go to your favorite site and look at the decks, especially yours. Screen shot it. See your cabin and start a picture file! So much fun!

I use www.cruisemapper.com (if this site shows as those ‘special’ *******, it’s not that site lol…find your own favorite).

Very nice CM said everything is sold out. I've had verandas on all my cruises, no idea if I could handle an inside. I don't like houses if the windows don't go to the floor - a very Southern attitude - so I've never tried no windows. Those who got a room - ENJOY!

Some credit cards will fail, some will cancel, some cabins still held by other operators & will drop back to inventory. Never over until the official “sold out” posting.

Anyone know if they are offering any pre night hotel options?
Doubt it but there are so many options near that San Diego port. (Even directly across the street). Short walking distance to so much entertainment.

The DVC website is still showing "limited availability" for a few stateroom categories, including two of the veranda categories. Is that just because there are wheelchair accessible rooms in those categories that they aren't making available to bookings that don't need them?

After all that crap they put you through… “sell out” on the Wonder Member Cruise inventory, booked up in 5 hours! Congrats to all going aboard next year. 🎉
