So I took the boys to the snow, they had never been before. We went tubing on Sat night. Then Sunday we got up early and took lessons for snowboarding. The boys are awesome at it.... me on the other hand My butt still hurts and Im sore all over from falling. I think next time I will sit at the lodge area with some tasty adult beverages and just take there pics!

I ended up busting my cell phone cuz it was in my pocket. Thank goodness for ins. I just got my replacement phone. I have felt lost without it for the last few days LOL.

Thats pretty much all thats going on with us. I still havent locked in any reservations for anything. BUT I did put my vacation chit in to work. Im taking Sept 25th- Oct 8th off. Added bonus is Ca (maybe through out the country? not sure) passed a new law for anyone who's spouse is serving in a war area. They are granted 10days/80hrs of leave unpaid. SO I get to take time without having to use my vacation time.. if I dont want to. Sweet! Works for me.. Means I can take more time off.. Yet I dont like to! But I can if I want! lol

Great photos Drea--it looks like you and your boys had a fun day Rio prefers snow tubing to skiing as well It's funny, Rio is afraid to move fast on the skis but will fly on a tube. Marika flies on her skis but is afraid of the tubes becuase they go too fast

Brandie, I read the engine troubles thread. I really wouldn't put much stock in the rumors at this point if I were you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Those of you with more Fish Extender experiance. I have only seen pic of them. Since I sew a little I am planning on making ours. Any advice of what not to do.

Also I was a target and they had little white boards on clearance for about 2.50

Good Morning!! It is the weekend (Snake Saturday) and we have SNOW on the ground. It hit 70 this past week and now we have snow on the ground. Granted it isn't much but I was so enjoying the spring/summer weather.

Not even going to Snake Saturday activities, just TOO cold and wet. I can do the cold but when you add the wet it is just too much. I hope everyone is having a good and productive week-end.

I hope none of you got caught in the storms in Alanta GA. I hear that 30 people were injured but that is looking good considering where the storm hit and the large number of people that were gathered. Given that I live in the midwest I have seen first hand the damage that these storms can inflict on a community. Looking like this season may be a rough one.

Well check in later. Since I am at home, going to get my shovel and wheelbarrel out and see if I can't find some of my house. Lois

Okay my disbuddies, I need some prayers for a family who lives around the corner from us....their 18 year old son, who just graduated from my DD's high school in June, died yesterday morning while at college from bacterial meningitis. I am heartbroken for his parents and his friends. The teens in the neighborhood held a candle ceremony in front of his house yesterday. It was very sad and very moving. My DD knew him, but was not close since she was in 9th grade and he was in 12th, although a good friend of hers had a huge crush on him. Thanks for letting me share and make sure you give all your children an extra hug tonight.

I had a friend pass away the end of January (he was only 27 and worked at WDW) and it's so sad. I'll keep everybody in my thoughts and prayers.
