Hang in there hopfully the physicians at CHOP will get to the heart of the matter and get this under control ASAP. I will keep everyone in prayer. Lois

rkandmjsmommy: Our thoughts are with you and your family :grouphug: . Please keep us posted :flower3: .

Rachel is in my thoughts and prayers, Denise! Same with you and DH. I know this is stressful on you guys, too.

jjgarv, great to see you posting again! That is an awesome price!!! Woo Hoo!! That means you can suprise your DW with a couple's massage, right? ;)

Denise--I am sending virtual pixie dust to all of you:wizard: . I am GLAD you live near an excellent children's hospital to take Rachael to. I will be worrying about you all weekend from camporee and cheking for an update (which I am sure wil be here and be GOOD) as soon as I get back.
Hadley

Thanks for ALL the well wishes, it so awesome to know that people we havent even met yet are SO WONDERFUL! Unfortunatly we are heading to the hospital, the Dr thinks its gotten worse, we are going to CHOP, childrens hosptial of PA, one of the best, will update when we can

Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers, PLEASE keep them coming:grouphug:

Prayers for you all. We were in a similar situation two weeks ago, ended up at St. Christopher's. If you need anything, pm me, I'm in Philadelphia proper, but not near CHOP.

Julie

Backing out of a spot today, I hit the car next to me. Fortunately, only I had damage and he didn't want to call the police, nothing. But I hardly every drive, have only really been driving for 3 weeks, and I hit someone. Ugh :headache:

To answer the weekly question:
I would choose the Virgin Mary.

Sadie (dd 13) would choose US Grant and Robert E Lee, but maybe Napoleon.

Sig (ds9) would choose Saint George, who is his name saint and the dragon slayer, or maybe Genghis Khan.

(yes, my kids are very strange, I know)

Madalyn (dd 3) would like to meet a princess. Right now, she's saying Jasmine, but who knows who it will be in ten minutes.

Alex (ds3) doesn't care, I'm sure as long as it's not a doctor. He's had enough of doctors.

Update on dh's deployment: everything is going well. He hasn't shot himself or anyone else. He has a lot of cold weather gear and is apparently going to work with local tribal leaders in the north where they have 9 months of winter. He's learning basic Dari- the language spoken by 80% of Afghan people, which is similar to Farsi (Persian). He might get a week or so off before he goes over, so he can come home for a few days.

Julie

Denise--Darn it! So sorry to hear you guys are at CHOP but you're in good hands. Update when you can...

Julie--Bummer on the car accident! At least nobody was hurt. That's always the most important part :thumbsup2

Military wives often learn to do many things they never thought they could do. It is very hard to give the control when they come home.

Sorry about the little fender bender but cars can be repaired; so can our pride. Not to worry we have all been there at one time. OK I guess I should say most of us have been there.

Denise - Prayers and hugs for your daughter and you. :grouphug:

Julie - No one hurt = priceless; everything else use mastercard! Here's a hug for you also. :grouphug:

jjgarv - Where is central PA are you? Good find on the tickets...lucky you!

I know I do not post much, but I do read this board daily.

Julie, that really bites about your car! Glad you're ok though!

On a totally different subject, I'm not very happy with Ebay/MouseSurplus! I've been bidding on this Mickey candy mold from WDW and I've been the high bidder for a couple of days, even upping my bid this afternoon so I would be sure to win it. My laptop has been out being repaired so I just got it back maybe a half hour ago. Anyway, I sign onto Ebay to check the auction and there is nothing there. They must have pulled the auction! I looked under the newest listed auctions and it was listed there! I've NOT happy right now. If it's something they wanted a high price for, they should have put a reserve on it, not pulled it because they didn't like the offers. Grrrrr!!!!!!

Anyway, hopefully everyone is having a good night! :)

When does our Hawaiin suntanned girlfriend and Bunnypod come back from the girl's getaway?

Are you back this weekend, Tiffany?

I'm back! I came back Tuesday evening but was too tired to read emails or DIS until Wednesday and did not catch up on everything until today!

So much has happened over the last 20+ pages!

Kimberly I'm glad to read that your mom received good news from the doctor! Did they ever find out what is going on? Also, if you are looking into cruising Hawaii through Norwegian (SP?) don't! I heard so many horror stories from the cruisers that were docked in Kona from that ship! RC had much better comments. Also, if you would like I can give you the names of some of the not to miss places in Kona like one of the best snorkel beaches in all the islands - and it's free if you have your own snorkel gear, but they rent it there.

Prayers to those who were sick, but feeling better since last week!

Denise! I'm sending a special prayer for your DD and hope she begins to recover soon! I'll have some other things coming your way very soon! :flower3:

Erica I love the pictures of the run at WDW! Way to go girl! :cool1:

Hadley - Great pictures and I'm still waiting on the Lime Green T-shirt picture!

Skoi - I'm glad to hear your little fella is doing better and I hope he continues to improve!

Heather - Bummer to be sick on Mother's Day! Glad to hear you are doing better. Your DH is sweet to let you rest!

Jen - Waiting for the big news about Sarah! Keep us posted.

Doug and I got a Disney Visa before our 2006 trip to WDW and use it as our Gas card. We pay it off each month and right now were racking up the Disney Dollars. :confused3 I guess that's about the only good thing from the rising Gas prices. :scared1:

Hawaii was wonderful! I have to say the snorkeling was better than Castaway Cay :rolleyes1 (Please don't hate me!!!) I honestly think Castaway will one day rival Hawaii, but the coral beds still need time to develop.

The weather was amazing and well, it's Hawaii! I took hundreds of pictures and I'll try to post some of the best ones when I've had a chance to go through them.

I took Grady's flat Stanly with me (He didn't know it) and took pictures with him everywhere. Printed the pictures and sent them back as postcards! He got a kick out of that! Stanly went to the beach, waterfalls, to the volcano, he hung out with geckos and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe! I purchased post card stickers before I left that you peel and stick to the back of pictures to make them stiff so they will mail easily.

It was so hard leaving, but knowing we will be on the Magic in 4 months helped. I can now focus my attention on planning. . . Hi, my name is Tiffany and I am also a Disney Plan Adict! :)

I know I missed comenting on a ton, but I did read everything! I'm just so jetlagged right now with the 6 hour time difference that I'm having a hard time remembering things - Oh, wait. I'm always like that. . .:rotfl:

Have a great evening everyone!

Tiffany

That doesn't sound right! Are these the molds you are referring to?

Yup! Those are them! I'm currently the high bidder on the first one you have listed. I'm thinking - "if at first you don't succeed try and try again". We'll see what happens in 4 days. The thing is, what upsets me is if there was a reserve and it was high, I wouldn't have bid on it, but there was no reserve...oh well...

I'm heading off to bed. Have a wonderful night! :)

I hope everything is okay. You guys will be in my prayers. Keep us updated.
Tonya

Thanks, I thought she was getting better, her temp was 99-100 all day and it just spiked to 101.2, this is after 5 doses of antibiotic, I am thinking this must be viral. I hope its not bacterial and she needs stronger, if she needs to be admitted to the hospital we will have to medicate her to calm her down:(

Gram...we are from just outside Harrisburg, I work in Hershey.

So much has happened. I will be praying for little Rachel. Nothing is worse then a child sick. Skoi, hang in there with everything going on - so sorry to hear about the fender bender. Good news about hubby though! Today I am just getting ready to watch the Magic go through the Panama Canal. The Canal has great webcams. Little Sarah arrives next week - doesn't she??? Cannot wait to see pictures. Hang in there everybody - the weekend is ALMOST here!!! :worship:

Quick Update
We are still here, she is doing TONS better sinc getting the IV antibiotics, not sure if we will be home tonight or tomorrow

Thanks for all the support, well wishes they are MUCH appreciated

Denise - hope everything is better with little Rachel!

Question of the week - you guys have some tough questions....

Me - I would pick my grandmother. She passed away some 25 years ago. She had such wisdom and lived through so much. Now that I'm older and wiser (!!!) I would love to hear more from her and tell her what a wonderful legacy she started (I have the best Mom!).
