Good luck to all of you Castaway Club Members tonight!
Congrats!!
Okay...Let's plan on Thursday then! I'll be there around 9:00 am.
Where am I flying to? Hmmm...believe it or not, that's a complex question! I am flying from Columbus to Philadelphia. However, I don't now if that's my last flight! My DBF is temporarily working in Newark, DE (4 more months remaining), so he's going to pick me up there. However, he's making the rest of the week/weekend a surprise!
We had talked about going to several places like Portland, D.C. (mainly for the fireworks), and even Niagra Falls. Then one day he says "I have a surprise for you! I've been researching destinations, and I have decided on where we are going but don't ask questions."

<---- (That's me in SHOCK that he's doing this!) All I know is that I'll arrive Thursday, we won't leave for our destination until Friday evening, we'll be at our destination all day Saturday, we'll be back (which I think means his sisters in MD because that's where he's staying) on Sunday, then fly back to Columbus on Monday.
Why I'm not sure if this is the only place I'm flying to is that he mentioned he has "tickets". However, I have no idea if those are plane tickets or tickets to an event.

So I'll have to report back to all of you about my "surprise".

He's added the disclaimer that I shouldn't have high expections, which I quickly replied "Oh you've already exceeded them!"
So really, truly, it doesn't matter where we go because him taking on this initiative is HUGE, especially because he states I'm awesome at planning all the right things when we go on vacation, and he speaks to it often. As all you other OCP, giving up control of even a mini-vacation is tough territory to look at from a distance with your hands tied. So all I've asked is for a dress attire packing list....aren't you proud fellow OC Planners????! Although.....I might cave in and ask for him to tell me the weather forecast for our destination too.
We'll, I'm working on magnets for the stateroom door this morning, so I need to get back to that. If you haven't counted the number of weekends remaining before we leave and you need your weekends to get extracurricular things done, make sure you're sitting down before grabbing the calendar.
