Hi, I've just got an email from Tesco saying that they are doubling the amount of airmiles you get with the Clubcard vouchers. The offer is on until March 09 and I thought there might be people considering flights to CDG who might want to check this out! I think its £2.50 of vouchers = 120 miles. It's not yet come up on the website.

Just to add it has to be a new Airmiles account.

I used Tesco Clubcard and Airmiles for our trip in March and 4 flights from local airport cost me around £200 in Tesco vouchers so with the new deal you could half that.
It's a good deal and I would be more than a little annoyed by the "brand new customers only" offer, if it weren't for the fact that Topps Tiles have just joined Tesco Clubcard deals for a limited period and I've just worked out I can have new laminate flooring almost right through the house, courtesy of Tesco. :)

There must be a way around the 'new customers only'. Perhaps if you open another account in a family member's name and booked using their name but your vouchers? I know with holidays you can use other people's vouchers as long as they are part of the travelling party.:confused3

Stop it Juliette, I'm not even going to think about it, we desperately need the flooring :rotfl:

I have a household airmiles account at the moment, so can't see a way around it anyway, over on another forum I visit I'm sure someone will come up with a way around it. ;)

Nooooo, so tempting.

On the one hand, I hate flying and much prefer Eurostar or Eurotunnel

On the other hand...........can't.......resist........bargains.......:scared:

You can book Eurostar through Airmiles, don't have to fly......and book DLRP too.

Deal now live and it seems that it doesn't have to be a new account, but it's only applicable to those who haven't transferred clubcard vouchers to airmiles before, I have and DS has but OH hasn't so I think I could put the CC vouchers I've got through his Tesco account and then add his account to the household account as I don't think I've added him yet and I have already got 300 miles in the account. ;)
But then I wouldn't get my flooring :headache:

I've had a look and we've definitely got enough for the Eurostar but you have to ring for a quote for Disney hotels so will wait until later when have more time.

Whoo hooo thanks:banana:

This is a good deal. Hope I get a Tesco voucher soon to swap over:goodvibes

I hope someone gets cheap travel out of this.:goodvibes

Come on Jill - new flooring or DLRP? Are you going to be able to reminisce over the great memories of getting your flooring?:lmao:

I've been avidly watching the Disney website for prices for May 2010 to be released and they were available on Monday (prob came out on 1 Nov).

I phoned Airmiles expecting them to have the dates available but apparently they don't yet and aren't expecting to be able to book beyond April 2010 until late December/January.

I wondered if there was any rationale between airmiles and £'s? Does anyone know *** then I can work out a rough estimate for when we want to go.

Many thanks.

You need 1000 miles for an adult Eurostar and 750 miles for one flight to CDG. Each £2.50 voucher gets you 120 miles. I think that's right!
