Dorney Park?

Graysmom reminded me when she mentioned the Lehigh Gorge...you can also go Whitewater Rafting in Jim Thorpe. There is also an outdoor paintball place up there. Jim Thorpe is only about 20-30 minutes from Dorney Park, so you can easily drive up there for a day.

Also, about an hour south of Dorney is a tiny town called New Hope. You can walk/bike across the Delaware River and be in Lambertville, New Jersey. There is a canal that many ride their bikes on.

The towns of New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ are filled with incredible restaurants and unique shops. Google the towns and you will have more choices for your vacation. I highly recommend the Lambertville Station for a hotel.
