After Norway, we headed over to China to see find Mulan. (We were consulting our character meet and greet times sheet, to see when each character was suppose to be out. We were fixin to get to them all!) We didn't see Mulan right away when we got to her spot, so we went to the Kidcot Fun Spot station and let the girls get another stamp and dangly thing for their masks. The CM working here was really sweet with the girls. She wrote their names and ages in Chinese.
After they were done with the masks, we saw Mushu walking by with a CM.
I don't remember if he was coming or going, or what. But, I do know that I then took Arminda to change into her Mulan costume so she could meet Mulan in it. Then, we went over to where Mulan should be. But, she wasn't there. There was another family there, so we went over and they said Mulan was suppose to be back in about 15 minutes. So, we decided to wait.
Lydia ran around awhile
There were some Chinese acrobats performing, so we decided to watch them as we waited.
Then, it happened.
This family stood in front of us.
We could still see the performers, and they weren't trying to block our view.
No big deal.
Or so I though!
All of a sudden Brian says, "She's not wearing any underwear!"
I said "What are you talking about??"
He said, "That girl there! She isn't wearing any underwear!"
He then pointed to the girl in the short little green skirt.
It was a windy day.
A VERY windy day!
As he was pointing to her, the wind blew again! And, I saw just exactly what he was talking about!
Now, she MAY have had a thong on, I don't know, because all I saw was her entire behind!
I was shocked!
And, she made NOOO move to hold the skirt down!!!!
Then, the wind blew AGAIN!
And
WOOOOSH!!!
Ok, THAT was ENOUGH!!!
I looked over at a CM who was standing nearby. She looked very confused, and I could tell she wanted to do something but didn't know what!
So, since I could see that the CM was not moving, AND the wind was picking up again,
I marched over to this young lady, and I said to her, "EVERY time the wind blows, you keep MOONING my family! HOLD your skirt DOWN!!"
The picture I posted there is obviously AFTER my little conversation with her. She is both holding and pulling this skirt down. It was ridiculously short.
After I went back over to Brian, the CM walked by me and smiled. I felt bad for her, she was from China, and I don't think she spoke English well enough to confront the guest.
It wasn't long afterwords that the young lady and her family left. Thank goodness!
We waited quite awhile longer, and then the Photopass photographer came out, so we knew Mulan wouldn't be too much longer!
Then, she finally came out, along with Mushu!!!!
We really love Mulan and Mushu! Mulan is the sweetest princess!
I love these two of Arminda and Lydia!
How much longer will Arminda want to hug the princesses?? Makes me all teary thinking about it! I hope she'll let herself believe for a long time, but I fear the time is soon coming when she won't!
(and jut to clarify so no one thinks Arminda is too crazy! She KNOWS the Princesses are people dressed up, but when you are AT Disney, don't we all like to just let ourselves believe they are real??? I believe!)
After meeting Mulan, we were getting hungry, so we decided to eat our lunch. We found these nice little shaded tables, and spread out our food.
We then just sat by the water and enjoyed being with each other.
As you can see, it was still pretty windy!!!
Lydia sat up on this wall and posed for some pictures.
Then she layed down,
and I looked over the edge and decided she should get off! The drop was a bit further than I thought!
I consulted out character times again, and plotted a strategy for seeing all the characters. Plus, I wanted to see Davy Jones! So, we had to figure that into the schedule too! We weren't rushing, but you do need to plan out these character meets if you want to see them all.
It looked like Snow White would be the next character, so we started heading over there. On the way, the kids found this little playground, so we let them play awhile.
It was broke into two different age groups.
