I'm feeling like my old healthy WISHer self today! I got up early this morning, made egg custard & tuna salad and cleaned up the kitchen. I think I'll set some familiar goals for today - I'm feeling up to tackling them!
1. Meds & vitamins - just took 'em!
2. Water - 5 mugs at work (60 oz) + more during the evening. I'm working on the first mug now.
3. Food - I'm ready for a true low-carb day. I'm having tuna salad on fiber rye crackers for breakfast and egg custard & an apple w/ PB for lunch. Dinner will be a jerk chicken salad at a local restaurant - my vanpool driver is retiring and the riders are having a surprise party for him. If I have any in between meal cravings, I'll have a piece of Trident gum.
4. Exercise - Tried to walk the puppy last night & she didn't want to go. I've got to stop taking my cues from her and get my walk in no matter what. I think I'll walk 1 mile during lunch today.
I'm headed toward the D-Zone - I'm at Day 21. I avoided the scale this morning - afraid of what I might see. I'm going to try to have a healthy eating & exercise weekend and then get on the scale. I do want to weigh and take measurements this weekend because I want to compare the numbers before and after my Disney trip. I really think I'll come home thinner but I want hard numbers to prove it.
