Dopey phone question

I'm told I need to scan our park tickets into my phone. Sorry to be such a dope, but can someone send me a clue about how to do that? I just received my paper tickets by mail, and I have an iPhone 7. Thanks !

Go to the Disneyland app. Hit the hamburger button (three lines) in the bottom right corner. Hit "link tickets and passes." The camera will pop up. Scan the barcode. Repeat as many times as needed.

You are not required to scan the park tickets into the phone unless you want to do it for a specific reason (like Max Pass)

Do you need to name the tickets when you scan them in? Or do you do that once you get a paper ticket at the turn style.

Name the tickets when you scan so you know which ticket belongs to which person. If you have a digital ticket, you won't need a paper one. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Me too. He's my favorite dwarf (although my family says it should be Grumpy) and I got really excited about this new thing!

If you plan to use the free FP machines, you will need your paper ticket to insert into the machines. Some people like to use their paper ticket at the FP return scanners to save on their phone battery. And keep your paper tickets in a safe, waterproof place. There have been rare reports here of the app eating tickets and people needing to re-scan them in.

I scanned my family's 4 tickets into my phone/account. Can I rescan the tickets into my wife's phone/account on her phone as well? Or is there another way to link them to her phone?

I think I figured this out. I just scanned the tickets on my phone to my wife's phone.
