Doorways to Disney Chicago 2nd anniversary year event

I attended the 10:00 a.m. event.
There were not any good incenctives.
Add ons were just the buy before price increase, the $5 off and a framed picture of Mickey that hangs over the studio's bed.
New members would get a Feb. month so they would be able to bank 2009 use year.
The was no give away of a vacation, just coffee cup, luggage tags, stationary as prizes.
We did have a good time with Mickey and Minnie.
And yes I did add on anyway.

I also added on 50 more points, mainly to get the Mickey art. We just returned from staying at BLT and I just had to have one of those.

We were a little disappointed by the incentives (we were at the 10am presentation, too)... but that didn't stop us from becoming DVC members!!!
We've been thinking about it for a couple years now, and bought in at AKL.

We were there today at 10 too. We didn't add on since we had done that in July. In fact we just got our paperwork yesterday.
We sure had fun though!

We attended the 11 am show today and had fun! It is always nice seeing Derek and he did a great presentation along with Laurie.

Same prizes and giveaways as mentioned above, along with the great toiletries travel kit with the DTD logo on it. The entertainment was a DJ with Mickey and Minnie leading the dancing and photo taking. The buffet was a nice selection of cold cuts, fresh fruits, breads, cheeses, hummus, veggies, cookies and cupcakes. Very very nice...

We are considering a VGC add on and have to make up our minds very soon!

I was at the 3:00 show today and there were maybe 50 people there. Very quiet. It wasn't the same sort of event they have had the past two times but it was still a good time. They only gave away mugs and stuffed Mickey beanies at our party.

We were also at the 3pm show and had a good time. It was interesting to see about 95% current members at a new members show.

Incentives were rather boring compared to other shows, but with a creative add-ons you could double your purchase points for the first year.

The after party with the smaller group was a lot of fun. Loads of dance and running room. Mickey and Minnie were able to interact and even chase some kids down. It was a good time I look forward to a larger Woodfield Member gathering.
