Doorway to Dreams

My guide invited me to the Doorway to Dreams 1 year anniversary event next weekend. Anyone have any idea what will be going on at the 1 1/2 hour events (of which there are several)?

My guide said in addition to the event there will be special incentives but knew nothing further. I see it will be held at the Improv Club at the Woodfield Mall. I'm tempted to attend but it is a 2.5 hour drive so I'm wondering if it would be worth it (gas ain't cheap these days).

There will probably be a sales presentation(like last year) pushing the incentives whatever they may be. Looks like there will be a vacation giveaway-only for IL residents(must be something legal). Last year they had some appetizer type food and everyone got some little promo items and a picture with Mickey and friends. If I was going to be in town-I'd go but I'm only an hour away...Can you justify a day at Woodfield(back to school shopping....)

I'm going to the first presentation-friday night!!!
We just closed on our points... so the possibility of purchasing an add-on is slim-to-none at this point (next year maybe.) BUT... my 14 month-old daughter just loves Mickey Mouse and since I can't take her to see him in person until September, this is a must-do for us! Of course, we're only an hour away from Woodfield... so not nearly as far of a drive for us, but honestly - I get overly excited about anything disney and would probably drive the 3 hours... it's much better than the 24 hours that it takes to drive to florida!!!
