Doorway to Dreams Long Island?

We took the Doorway to Dreams tour today. Anyone here buy DVC there? I was wondering if the perks are better if you by when on WDW property? Anyone have any regrets? Any pros cons, all welcome.

No idea about Long Island, but when we bought BLT at the Doorway to Dreams location in Schaumburg, IL the deal was identical to the current incentives offered in the parks.

The deal they offer at doorway to dreams is usually the same they offer at wdw, unless they are running a special. I think they have member events at doorway sometimes that they rum special. My guide told me they also make offers while on vacations that expire when you leave. Hope this helps.

I haven't purchased at Doorway to Dreams in Roosevelt Field, but I've visited a couple of times. I found everyone I met there to be knowledgable and friendly. I'd have no problems going there for an add-on if the situation was right, or recommending it to a friend interested in DVC.

When I called DVC to inquire about joining (we'd already been on a tour in February), it was in the evening and I was routed to the Long Island location. The deals were the same as others offered at Disney. We actually ended up buying through the Vacation Guide at the Long Island location--she was just fantastic and we felt really comfortable with her! So, if you do call the main DVC number, you may get routed to one of these offices as well.
