Doorway to Dreams Event at Kane County Cougars Stadium

Anyone in the Chicago area planning on going to the sales event at Kane County Cougar Stadium? What an unusual place to have it. We live close by so I think will go.

We got the mailing also. They are offering 4 free cougar tickets and a $50 cougar credit. We will not be attending, but should be fun and cougar games are a blast for the family

I wish we could go! I have kid's soccer games throughout the morning or we'd be there for sure! Sounds like fun and the gift card would be fantastic since we love going to games there.

I got a mailing as well. Maybe if we can be late we can make part of it, but probably impossible. I know my kiddies would LOVE the kid's club!

We went to event this morning. For those who do not know the Kane County Cougars are a Class A minor league team located about 50 miles west of Chicago. There were about 100 people at the event,(they were having a 2nd one in the afternoon). It was very low key, no characters at event. They went over what was new at all the parks and DCL. They gave away some lanyards. pens, pins, and alot of little stuff not worth mentioning. They had 2 raffles for gift baskets. They talked and showed some pictures of Aulani and mentioned it is opening in 2 days, other than that nothing about it. I asked a few people what the deal was with Aulani and they really wanted to avoid talking about it. They played ignorant about why it was not for sale. One actual guide did say you could go put your name on a waiting list. They mentioned BLT was close to selling out if you needed more points, but did not mention price. The made a passing comment about SSR, but again no mention of price. The real push was for AKL, and here are the incentives they were offering at this event.

Did not know about this...we are in Lockport...we just added on...60 pts at SSR $99 per and guide is leaving 3 of those fastpasses for us next mth at our resort..and I got a new tote bag!

Thanks, CMoore185, for letting us know how the event went. My DH and I were considering going, but had some other things come up. It sounds like I didn't miss very much. For some reason I thought Aulani was opened back up for sale, but I guess I must have misread that information. I know Disney Parks Blog has started writing about it again.

I forgot to mention that they said they would have an event we are use to seeing at Doorway to Dreams in Nov. They said there would be Aulani models at that time and the event would possibly be a Luau theme.

Thanks!!!I had recently called them and they coudnt/wouldnt give me any info on events, within last month I called. We knew we were going to add on, but wanted to see if there was an event, or add on next mth while in Disney,
We just ended up doing it over the phone/fed ex!
