Dooney junkies...a question and comment

First of all, what is with those new "Bubble" bags? Am I the only one who thinks these are absolutely hideous?? (As well as the Doodle, Tatoo, Stars, Hearts, and Tartan...yuck!) Give me a good old "It" bag any day.

And speaking of "It" bags...obviously, they are not quite 'it' anymore, but I still really like them. Especially the Raspberry color. Do you think they might bring that color back? They did bring back the periwinkle and bubble gum this spring for some of the bags, so maybe they will, or should I just hit ebay and see what I can find?

Oh, the insidious purse hideousness that is being perpetrated on we Purse Ladies. They are just getting uglier and tackier every year. It used to be that you could find cute, but nice purses. Now you have to be a 21 year old fashionista to carry them.

This year is the worst yet. I'm about to give up on the Purse Designers and learn to dye and sew leather.

Dooney's standards are sinking.

Real Dooneys are LEATHER...not these fabric junk they are throwing at us in the stores now.

Yea, back in the olden days, All-Weather Leather was IT!

FYI...I still have my Dooneys from over 20 years ago and they are in great shape. I've bought plenty of Dooneys over the years, but will NEVER buy the fabric ones, whether they have stars, letters or whatever on them!
