Dooney Disney Bags!!!

I just got back from Disney and I also have my new purse sitting next to me right now!!
If you want the large tote you have to go to MK on Main St on the right side is the watch store that has the jewerly and all... the purse will be in the case to the left side of the jewerly cases against the wall towards the end near the door... if you want the med size tote or the wristlet you will have to go to DTD inside the main Disney store WOD... once again in the jewerly section far left side in a free standing case... I want to say the large was $180?? the med which I got is $150 and the last is $50!!
I went into the Dooney store to ask about the purse and why it did not come with papers... it was explained to me that only Disney will do the warrenty for the purses. Oh and NO they will NOT be sold at ANY OTHER PLACES!!!
Help that helped somebody!! I love mine and get asked about it everywhere I go!!

I got one! The large tote! My good friend was at WDW last weekend and picked one up for me at DTD!
Now I just need to wait for her to mail it to me (from Georgia to Calif!). I can't wait! She said there were 3 of them. She is a very picky shopper so she had them lined up comparing all the print placements!
I will post pictures when I get it!

LOL... I thought I was the only crazy one.. I made sure I got one that you can only see Disney World on and not the Disneyland... I am a FL girl so I thought it was more me lol

Oh my gosh, that purse is soooo adorable! Every time I go to Disneyland(CA), I come back with a new purse, to cute! I'm going to start looking around for these and see if they make an appearance in California

They did!! I checked my messages at lunch and they left me a message telling me they had it and would bring it over when I got home. It is such a gorgeous bag!! And sturdy this bag is going to last forever!!

NOT HAPPY.........When I purchased about two weeks ago I was told the large tote was in stock and would ship, wristlet on back order.

Checked order today. Wristlet shipped and large tote is on back order now. She said another shipment is coming in but I will believe it when I see it. All three bags are on back order as of now.

Does anyone have the names of stores in MK or DTD that have these purses so I can call them directly? Will they ship to me.....I am not happy as Disney charged me for a purse that did not even ship and then ended up on back order after I was told it was not. Still have not been credited and they are going to "call me right back".

I just posted in the other thread, but I just called them and they won't ship...only place to order from is the merchandise line.

I ordered the large tote on the 16th and nothing yet. I am trying to be patient....

I called today to see if there was any update and was told that they could be in anytime from now until mid-December. When I called a couple weeks back, they told me mid-November, so I broke down and bought one on Ebay. I paid a little less than $40 more than I would have through the merchandise line, but it will be worth it for me to have it before our trip in a couple of weeks.

I think I am going to call and cancel my order.
There are several things about this transaction that bother me.
One, the purse does not come with the Dooney warranty.
Two, why was it sold only at WDW when the Disneyland logo is also on it?
Three, why haven't we been given a transaction update? When things are back ordered there are general notices communicated, yet nothing here.

I just think I'm going to cancel my order.
They are cute purses and I hope all who got them, enjoy them and wear them in good health

My wristlet arrived today and it is really cute with good placement. When you unsnap and lift the flap there is a full Mickey right there staring at you.

I still have not heard on the large tote but people are reporting the tassel tote is in WDW stores so I am tempted to switch to that one if I don't hear about the large tote soon.

Did you call Dooney direct to find out about the warranty? I would be surprised if they did not stand behind their product.

Do any of you know if the large tote has zippers on the top of the bag? Also do any of you have photos to share of your new purse? I'm thinking of buying the large tote, but I need one that zippers closed. I can wait for backordered stuff if needed, but very curious about whether or not you can zipper it closed.

My sister in law bought FIVE of the tassle totes today at The Grand Floridian. Still can't find the large one on WDW property though...

Just an FYI, most of you already know this I guess. I went to the flagship D&B store in Manhattan Friday. They said the bags are only sold thru Disney....... And the WoD store 6 blocks away in NYC also did not have them. Oh well.

Woot! Can't wait to see it! I'm heading down to Disneyland CA again in a couple months. Hope they have some cute new purses by then
