As a hardcore D&B fan, I am really glad I got the original sketch tote. The new bags don't look Dooney enough to me. I'm not crazy about the wonder print, but like it way better in black than tan. I guess I should just thank them for saving me some money!

I love the white sketch verson 2 the best! However I grew to like the black wonder barrel bag very quickly. I think it is somewhat classy. I have alot of Dooney and Burkes. I don't understand how some people have outgrown them. Maybe the "It Bag" which alot of teenagers had LOL but their line is very diverse. I have Coach too but find that too many people have the same bags and am bored with that line.

I had mail order return issues also, with a $600 ruby ring!! My stone came loose, so they sent me a new one. Well the Mickey ear stones on the replacement were two completely different sizes, cuts and colors! I sent it back, with a note, and they called me asking me what was wrong with it, because it looked fine to them! Finally they sent me a new one I was happy with. UGH!

i would most definitely agree with that! i used to love coach but ive found their bags to be so common. i was big into lesportsac for a while coz they had a couple cool lines (l.a.m.b. by gwen stefani and tokidoki) but now im totally hooked on dooney ... dooney was on QVC a couple weeks back and i couldnt tear myself away from the TV! )

I've been looking at the black Dooney, but I can't decided if I like the medium tassel or the large tote better. I may have to pick up a black one when we go to Disney in May.

DH and I had reservations to go down for ESPN the Weekend today until Sun. With the bad weather predictions, I tried to change to Wed. night before the snow, but no luck. Was able to change to the 7:00AM flt today and thought we would make it. No such luck. SW canceled all flts out of Philly and tomorrow is supposed to be bad also. Now I'm not sure when I will be able to go again and will miss the DTD Dooney Event. I have many Dooneys with the "DB" on it because my initials are DB. At least that is why I tell DH I need them. Oh well, let me go get the snow shovel ready.

Also, did you wear them yet? Are they comfy? Do you think they would be comfy all day in the parks? I'm trying to find an alternative to flip-flops (they hurt my feet after about 4 hours) or sneakers (too hot for all day). These look like the perfect balance btw the two!

I currently wear regular birkenstocks (sandals and clogs) and I love them. For most people (including me) the shoes need to be broken in before they are really comfortable. One pair of my birkenstock clogs are so beat up, but I can't just can't bring myself to throw them away because they are so comfortable. Birkenstocks will mold to your foot so they are like wearing a customized shoe. I wore my new Disney clogs around the house last night and they are comfortable. They are super cute and I love them

Zappos has the best shipping. They offer upgraded shipping when you order, but I never take it and then they upgrade it for free anyway!

When searching for those shoes - make sure you are searching for "Birkis" and not "Birkenstock". Birkis are made by Birkenstock but they are a different line of shoes.
