I'm not a huge fan of the new styles either. I already have the original white sketch medium tote, the original white sketch wristlet, the black wonder barrel bag, and the black wonder wristlet...and...this past weekend I couldn't help but buy the black wonder medium tote. I had been using my barrel for work and it's great because I love the placement but I just "needed" a bigger bag for during the week...the barrel will be my fun bag for over the weekend and nights out. Sigh...I'm addicted, I know. I love the placement of my new bag (it has a small hot pink Mickey silhouette right above the D&B label patch and on the back it has three perfect large Mickey's with the light purple one right in the center)...I love it! I still got the 20% AP discount so I saved $44.00. I'm really not into the new styles, as I much prefer the original ones...the only new item I would consider would be the checkbook wallet (which DBF said yesterday he would get for me ). Good luck to everyone in finding their Disney Dooneys!

Back in October, I bought mine at TrenD and the tag price was $10 higher, but I was charged the lower price.

I would kill for a lime green one LOL!!!!

The tan one might grow on me, who knows. I do like the pink one! Doesn't go with much that I own though LOL.

Ok, I've done some research. There are several different categories that people are listing these bags in. Her category matches several bags that ARE showing up.

I suppose I shouldn't let this bother me so much. Ebay sucks for sellers, and this is just one more reminder of why I will not be selling there anymore once I unload the rest of my stock.

I think the tan one could grow on me too, althought it doesn't scream..."YOU NEED ME!!!" like the sketch and black wonder did! I am still going to wait to see what the crossbody looks like. Who knows, maybe they will have something new by my trip (fingers crossed)

Yeah, the pink one has short straps too. That is the one thing I really don't like on my white tote, the straps do NOT stay on my shoulder well with a jacket on.

I could be wrong, but it looks like the straps on that tan one are adjustable...I have a coach with similar strap that can be made into a few different lengths.
you can unbuckle it, then let it out ( undouble it ) and rebuckle it as a single strap...does that make sense.

So, I just got off the phone with both Dooney and with Disney. I called Dooney's Customer Service line and was told that they don't have any information on the Disney bags at all and to contact Disney. They gave me the normal Disney Merchandising number.

I called Disney Merchandising next and the very nice CM there had to go look it up. According to them the Disney Dooney bags are NOT included in the normal Dooney guarantee or warranty and that Disney only offers the standard 90 day return/exchange policy.

So, take care of your bags!

WOW!!! There are such wonderful people on this message board. Thank you so much for calling Dooney. I was afraid the answer would be just as you stated it. Strange that they're not included in the normal guarantee. So, yes, guess I'll have to take extra good care of mine. That is, after I call and hopefully send it back for a new one because some of the black leather is flaking off. Originally, I was thinking about just keeping it, but I don't think I will now in light of this guarantee info. Might as well have one that's perfect. In case you didn't see my earlier post, I've had mine just a week and some of the black leather is flaking off.

It's really hard to tell from the pic if the buckle part is permanently attached to that section of the strap. if it is, no adjusting, but if it isn't, it could be done. I am not experienced at dooney, so I don't know
I wish it did adjust though!! like i need another bag

After having just bought one of the black purses, not knowing they were coming out with new styles, I'm so glad I'm not in love with the new ones. I mean, I don't think they're terribly bad, but I don't love them enough to drop another $200 or so. The other colors would be nice for summer, but last year I got a non Dooney fabric purse from Disney that's cute for summer so I'll force myself to use that for at least one more summer season.

I'm disappointed to learn the patterns are different on all the bags. With the black one, I don't think it matters all that much, but when we were down there a couple weeks ago, I bought DD the white wristlet and I definitely would have been a little more choosy had I known they weren't all the same. Then again, it was a Valentine's Day surprise for her and DH was keeping her distracted while I'll got it and paid for it so I didn't have a lot of time. And they didn't have a lot of them at that time either.

Last thing about this thread, YIKES are there the posts! Everytime I get off for a few hours and get back on, there's about three new pages of posts. We are a bunch of purse/Disney lovers, aren't we?

I also agree about the tan hobo style. I thought the straps looked adjustable when I first saw it.

Also, for those looking on EBAY, the person selling with the photos of the sketch in a rattan chair...those are stock photos only. Not a photo of the actual bag you are bidding on. Gotta watch how those are worded. I got my sketch off EBAY (less than list price even with shipping) and got one that was as pictured...and of course, I LOVE it !

Yes, you are right, you do have to be very careful about that. I have sent the seller a message asking if they could describe the pattern placement. We'll see if they reply or not...

Edited to add: I should also mention you have to be careful -there are some sellers that are calling the medium sketch bag a large bag. Just be aware of it - look closely the pictures and read everything!

Sorry, I thought you were the seller looking for your item. I meant that if you search that seller and look at other items for sale, the bag is there.
I didn't find it just searching Disney Dooney.
