I was thisclose to getting a picture of the new bags today!

I went into TrendD in DTD and the bags were not out yet and a nice CM offered to show me what the new pattern and bags were going to look like. I asked her if she would mind if I got a quick shot and she said "sure". I got the camera out and was about to take a shot and another lady walked up and freaked out! She said NO PHOTOS! LOL

Hubby said I should have told him I was going to try to get a photo for you guys cause he could have snapped a quick shot and ran! LOL

I don't know much about Dooney & Bourke bags but there is a hobo type and a letter carrier and a wallet and something else that I can't remember. We went to the place in the Yacht Club and also the Jeweler place in MK and neither place had any photos of the new design.

That helps a ton! Thanks so much. Wow that really is big. I'm kind of bummed it's that big - I love the size of the black tote but really want the sketch pattern. Ugh. I will have to decide soon what to do. Is the large white one kind of flexible - like if I were to jam it into my suitcase to board my plane ? I fly every week and I have a suitcase and a computer bag but won't give up carrying a purse (although many of my female colleagues have suggested it but that is just crazy talk!). So I shove and I mean shove my coach tote into my computer backpack just to board and then take it out. If I go with one of these I think it will have to be shoved instead into the suitcase but will it be very flexible? I may have to go with medium tote for size and I am sure that is not flexible.

So South Jersey girls - were are you? I am in Sicklerville!

All the CM's that I asked said they were hoping for end of Feb or early March. They all also said that they thought they'd have them in by now and were unsure what was happening with them.

Oh, man, that bites big time! I really, really, really want to see the new pattern. I hope they are out before we go on March 18th. I'm trying to decide if I want to go to Epcot on the first day or Animal Kingdom and that bag may be the deciding factor. If it is out before I go, I'm going to talk my DH and DD into AK that first day since they close earlier and we can hit DTD that evening. All so I can get a new bag. (Have I mentioned that I really want to see the new pattern? )

It is $175 at the parks and the shipping is 29.95. I haven't checked recently but I know here while back they were going for reasonable prices n Ebay. I have never heard of the Magical Memories Store...so can't help with that.

You mean, there WAS one Buy it Now for $175.......I bought it! I've been coveting these since I first saw one, but never had the money. Did my taxes, gettting back a little extra, decided to treat myself. I can't wait for it to arrive.

I bought the Mickey Wonder Tassel Toete with Matching wristlet on Ebay. I love it. Not sure about the white inside of the purse. I bought a Dooney Wonder Duck zipper wristlet to use for makeup. The zippers match and the Wonder Duck matches the inside back of the pouch/pockets of the purse. I will try to post pix. Can't wait to see whats new!

You can use your AP discount anywhere they sell the Dooney bags. Cast members told me the 20% continues until at least the end of the month.

Saw a picture of the new style today at Tren-D. It is the tan style with the Mickey pattern. I do think that there are less Mickey's on this new pattern, it seems more subtle. It has orange trim along the edges. It comes in a wristlet, wallet, hobo style, and letter carrier style. She said they were meant to come out earlier, but she doesn't think they will come out until mid to late March. I really liked the new style! People who do not like orange might not like it, but the color is pretty subtle and fits well with the bag.

Okay, I am hooked! I really like the white ones with Tinker, Mickey and all. Has anyone tried calling Disney Shopping at the parks and see if you can get one over the phone? I currently don't have a trip planned but may go in October. I can't wait that long!!!

Thanks for the update! I think I am going to check out the dooney website to see the specs for those types of bags. I am not an experienced dooney-er but they are based on the same styles right?

The website lists different types of letter carriers, but the picture did not look exactly like them. It did not have the clasp in the front like it shows on the Dooney Website, it looked more to me like a larger cross-body style. It appeared to have the two zipper pockets.

I think the hobo was most like the Juliet Hobo style, that one was the hardest to tell because it was not a very close up picture. But that is the only hobo on their website it looks remotely close to.

The wristlet does not snap but appears to zipper and looks like either the medium or large wristlet on the website.

The wallet looked to me like the Checkbook Clutch or the Checkbook Organizer, but again the pictures were very tiny. Hope this helps!
