The shipping update on my new bag says it was in my state late last night. I am really hoping to get it by tomorrow since we are going away for the weekend and I want to take it with me. Plus, tomorrow is my birthday. I can't stand the suspense!

what was the issue of licensing on the first style bag?

The issue was the Dooney and Bourke banner imprinted in the design. I think Disney did not like that integrated within the disney design. So that was removed from the design, replaced with Minnie, and a D&B patch was applied to the front of the bags and the wristlet.

BTW - I credit this information to one of the fine posters here that heard this from a CM and posted here! It is pages back in this thread somewhere.

I think I am addicted to these bags and this thread!

I just had two wristlets delivered from Disney, they sendt me the wrong version. I asked for version 1 but they sent me version 2! I just put them on Ebay to recover the cost. They told me I could return them but they would not refund the $20 in shipping cost that I paid. Also, I asked if I could return them when I am there in two weeks and they told me I had to mail them back.

So if you are ordering from Disney be very, very clear around which version you are interested in! I thought I was clear..but apparently that was not the case.

I think they just ship out what they provided or have on hand in the merchandising area. When I ordered by phone, the lady said she had close to 100 orders to fill, so I figured it was useless to ask for a specific version of the sketch design. I got version 1; I kind of wanted version 2 with the pocket on the back of the wristlet, but the pattern is great for me on the one I got so I am happy

You might be able to trade with someone here and save on shipping costs to order another? there is probably no guarantee if you order another on what version you'll get.

Just got mine in the mail today !! And I love it ! The medium tote is a great size for me. I ordered mine off of ebay so I was able to see the placement and love it ! If I had been down there with my AP discount it would have been $16 less, but I wasn't going to be there any time soon, so I still got it for less than list price, even with shipping !

There are two zippered pockets (one on each long side of the bag) as well as 3 other pockets for cell phone, lipstick, etc right in front of (or on, I guess) the zippered pockets. There are two on one side (one is small, about 2 inches wide, the other is longer, about 4 inches wide) and one on the other side that is more like 3 inches wide so it's perfect for a cell phone. There is also an attachment with a clip for keys. The straps are definitely long enough to carry over your shoulder...although I'm short (5' 1") and relatively small hehe...but yes they are long enough. Hope this helps!

Can you share the item number from Ebay so I can read that in the context of the description?
Many Dooney bags have a thin leather strap inside the bag with a hook on it called a "keeper" - used to attach your keys too for easy finding. Not sure if the Disney ones have that - i don't have the med tote size, i have the tassel tote.
