Dooney & bourke disney collaboration

I was at DTD tonight. Saw lots of both style bags and wristlets in world of Disney. The white ones do have Minnie on them now as well as a leather patch that says Dooney and Bourke like the black one. I got the black bag for Christmas and went back for the wristlet tonight.

I got a couple of Disney gift cards for Christmas. Does anyone know if I can use them to order the wristlet. I was hoping to order one tomorrow. Also, is there a picture on here of one of the black wristlets?

The new style white wristlet has the back pocket now too. The original ones didn't have that.

Please post if you were able to find a white wristlet with minnie. Of course, we disney dooney lover's would love a pic even better I left this morning, and did not even think look at the wristlets. But, I will be sure to stop at WOD on my way back to Orlando.

I also like the white sketch print more.. I just bought the black wristlet as well but prefer the white sketch print. The one thing I like on the new black print, is that you don't have to worry about character placement. They all look great.

My guess is that you cannot request pattern placement on the purses....could you imagine the chaos of this in the packaging department?

But that being said, if they can guarantee your purse to have what you are requesitng....please let us know!

I bummed to miss out on that one, but happy that it likely went to someone from these forums that has a true love for Disney! I'll find another to buy

That was probably me! I was very surprised that I won. I didn't think I got my bid in on time, but I guess I did! I'm now stalking ebay for a black tassel bag. I like the darker color for the winter and the fact that it has a zipper top. I still LOVE the white sketch print better though! Good luck on finding yours. It's out there somewhere!!

I called Disney this morning and ordered one. Bit the bullet to pay the high shipping, but it still works out to probably cheaper than an ebay one. The appeal of ebay was I could bid on one where I knew what the pattern was, so I am taking my chances on what I get in the mail. Ebay will also come much quicker - I bet you have yours by mid week! How fun! enjoy!

I am on the phone with Disney right now. Did they tell you it was back ordered? Just curious, did you get the white or black?

Yes, they told me it is on backorder, but I've read in this thread that that is pretty common, and it sounds like you get a call from them when they get stock at the merchandise line to ship out. Hopefully not too long!
I ordered the white tassel tote, and the black wristlet. I like the white better, but some say that the black is much better in person, so I wanted to be able to see it in person. I hope the white tassel tote doesn't turn yellow - that is a big issue with some D&B white purses.

Just got a call from Disney that my black large tote is in-ordered it 2 weeks ago and it was on back order. It's shipping tomorrow!!!!!

Oh I hope it doesn't take 2 weeks for what I ordered this morning. Maybe since Christmas is over it won't take as long. I can hope that anyway!

Finally finished my order!! I ordered the white wristlet, now I am keeping my fingers crossed I get a good pattern. The gentleman on the phone said it shipped UPS so I am hopping it comes sooner!

Just got a call from Disney - the wristlet I ordered this morning is in hand and will be walked over to shipping today and shipped tomorrow. The Tassle tote is still on backorder, but she may get her hands on some stock this week. CM said she had orders for 60 tassle totes and 100 of the larger tote!
I hope my tassle tote ships this week too! She said they would call when they have that one in hand. At least the wristlet is on the way!
