I bought the white tassle tote and it is not lined.. In fact I am more than dissapointed with the inside..It is very hard and almost like cardboard inside.

Have to agree with you about the inside. I can imagine it getting all scratched up inside. Maybe I can find a soft purse to put inside the purse. Gotta do something before I use it. I also am going to write to D&b and tell them not to go cheap just because its a Disney item.

I'm not a fan of bags without some kind of lining inside, but from fakereadhed's post above, it doesn't sound like D&B is "cheaping up" the Disney bags. They are apparently made the same way as the corresponding D&B bags from their regular line.

That was why I bought the large tote instead. The tassle one seemed so stiff, I could hardly get my phone in and out of it (not to mentiona it wouldn't even go into the pockets on the inside).

Sort of... I am using it for my small misc stuff, such as meds (excedrin, aleve, etc), hand sanitizer, a keychain size tape measure, any eyeglass cleaning wipes. I tried to use it as a wallet, but I prefer something that zips at the top so I can just reach in for my credit cards (apparently I can't spend fast enough! ), so I keep my other small stuff in the wristlet.

Wonder if they will have a new wristlet with Minnie?!? I have Christmas money starting to burn a whole in my pocket already. LOL

I just saw a minnie wristlet on ebay.. same style as the new black wristlet.. it has the back pocket and the dooney leather logo. I also saw one of the new minnie dooney bags on ebay. I go back to disney in a couple of days.. guess I'll have to look for a Minnie wristlet.

So I have a question... I am really LOVING my Disney Dooney, but I'd like something a little dressier, for those occasions when a Disney bag might not quite be appropriate.

I love the style of the tote, which I have figured out is called a "Cindy" tote. I'd like to get it in the patent leather black, like the auction I've linked below (although I'd wait for a better price!). But I am wondering if anyone can tell me if it is stiff enough to stand up by itself like the Disney Dooney does? That's part of what I love about this tote, so I'd probably be disappointed if the black one didn't stand up at all.

I am! I put a smaller coin purse in it that holds my cards and I also put chapstick in it

I'm doing the exact same thing -- it's perfect for holding small things in the tote.

I changed into and carried my new black Disney Dooney today for the first time and love the design of this bag. I got tons of compliments on it too. New bags always make the day better don't they? Hope eveyone had a great Christmas. Can't wait to see when the next pattern turns up at Disney and hopefully see pictures of it so I can start drooling again!

Yes these bags do get lots of compliments. I started using my new white tote with Minnie and Mickey and get lots of compliments. Now I have to decide what I am going to do with the other white tote that doesn't have Minnie... I just purchased that one in November.

Does anyone know if the new design is still called sketch or did the name change? I think I'm going to call tomorrow and order a wristlet to go with my tote. I'd be happy with either syle, but might like the new one to have one of each style.

I just won an auction on ebay for the tassel tote! I'm so excited. I haven't received a single gift today (even though it's my 36th birthday) so I just went ahead and gave myself one!!!!

We must have been bidding on the same item at the same time - I lost out to one other bidder in the last minute, right before you posted about getting it. I bummed to miss out on that one, but happy that it likely went to someone from these forums that has a true love for Disney! I'll find another to buy
