I just bought the large black tote and will post some photos later tonight. (Husband has the camera for Santa photos)

The tote does not have a zipper across the top, but does have a small zipper compartment. It also has a cellphone pocket which is very nice. The buckle is a real buckle and the bag has snaps on both sides. I was a little worried about the bag not zippering on the top, but I really like the bag. The snaps make the top of the bag close most of the way and when you need something out you can usually get it by unsnapping the side. The one part of the bag I really like is the strap for your keys. I am constantly losing my keys in my bag and this solves that problem. Also the tote has metal studs on the bottom to protect the bottom of your bag.

I also spent a lot of time looking at the zipper bag. I LOVED the rainbow zipper. It was so cute. I spent about 30 minutes at DTD trying to decide between the two bags.

We were there at the same time, we just got home tonight!! Also bought the black purse with the buckle, also debated the zipper
Love, love love my new purse...first Dooney & enjoying it. ALL of the prints that I saw (Summer Lace at Grand Floridian, TrendD and WOD, Uptown Jewelers & the store @ DHS, yep checked them all) were very cute, did not see any poor print placement for the black purse.

These 35% off coupons - dare I hope they will be giving them out in January still? Anyone know the months they typically do this? And do you just get them on the last day? I SO hope not as we have to leave for airport at like 7 a.m. before we can get to a store.

I have my white purse, and I really like the black print! Not as crazy about the black styles though.

Those with questions about the barrell purses - I hated that style. SO hard to get in and out of!

we finally got a 40% off (can't remember if it was for rooms or merchandise) coupon in the mail a few weeks ago and guess what.

it was in my brother in laws name - how on earth we got that since they live in a different city and to my knowledge we've never had any inquiries together so i don't understand it and was mad that we never get them and here it is in his name

It was probably for room. And we have had that happen too... It happens if you have travelled together at some point. Even more common if you have ever stayed in the same room/suite before. I just called Disney before and the CM changed it into my name.

i recieved my purse, and the 10% discount wasn't taken off for using my disney visa, does anyone know if this discount is still valid? i have called disney 2x today, on hold for a very long time, and the first time i had to hang up, the second i was disconnected!

I believe that on mail orders, the only discount that they allow to be applied is the employee discount.

I got my coupon on the last day of our trip (12/14) and it says valid through December 19, 2009. This is the first time I've ever gotten one of these. I also got 20% off at several stores during our trip, for showing my annual pass - never had that happen before either (at All-Star Music, World of Disney and the Christmas store at DTD)

Also - just got an email that says I can get a 20% discount on merchandise (at WDW) with my annual pass through 01/09/10 just by presenting it at checkout.

Hey guys have info on the NEW design (the one coming out after the black)..while shopping at dtd I was in trend-d talking to a cm about the dooney purses when she asked me if i wanted to see the new one that is due to come out some time in december...of course I was like YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!! so she gets this binder and takes out a piece of paper...which had the new design on the purses...the new design is the same print as the black one but in neutral colors..the main base of the purse is like an off white with different shades of brown mickeys..then the leather on the purses is an orange/ but more of a peach coral color...and here is the best part....THEY ARE COMING OUT WITH CHECKBOOK WALLETS!!!! this is not a rumor i saw the photos myself!!!!!

that's disappointing! well, i guess there is something to be said for the anticipation. at least when the last package is opened on christmas, you will know there is one more really good one coming! still, seems like they could have expedited this. sorry!
