$175 seemed like a great price for the tote if it was leather....as I was told.

The body on all three items are polyvinyl-coated cotton...only the handles/straps and clasps are leather. Quite a few high end handbag companies produce bags of this type - Fendi, Gucci and Louis Vuitton come to mind.

Yes, it's a bit of money to pay for a non-leather bag, so what you're basically paying for is their name and reputation.

I ordered a purse and wristlet recently. I like to match my wallet and purse. I won't be using the wristlet as a wallet. it's actually going to be a present for my daughter. Just wondering if anyone found a nice wallet to match this purse. The option I am thinking of is a solid colored leather wallet that matches the colors of the purse.

Disney and Dooney - my loves combine, oh my! I called and ordered the large tote on Friday. It is on backorder, so I have to wait until "sometime in November" for it to come it. Trip is in January, so hopefully.......

If anyone else is trying to decide which purse to get, you could try your nearest Macys. My Macys is carrying a 'special edition' scotty dog print that has a red background. They made it in only the larger tote and medium tassle tote (just the same as the Disney purse). Trying them on helped me decide! They also had the same wristlet. I passed on the wristlet, but may call back. It'd be nice to keep my contact case & solution and lip balm in.

I'm really surprised that so many people want these bags in time for their trips. They just don't seem like park bags to me.

I can't imagine stuffing them in the security net on Expedition Everest or letting them sit in water on the floor of a Splash Mountain log.

yeah i dont plan on carrying mine to the park .. its the bag i carry at home to have some magic with me always

Did they have the purses and the wristlets at MK ?

I believe she told me they did have both but when I was in it was just an entire rack of the purses...and I was honestly shocked that they had some in stock and so many. I was also told that some of the deluxe resorts should also be carrying them as well as the stores in the parks and DTD

I don't ride EE or SP. These are strictly my Disney World bags and I will not use at home. I'm bringing a 1 gal zip loc bag to put it in when I ride Kali.

i have actually decided not to get the bag - it would cost me over $300 just for the large bag once you add on the shipping and do the exchange rate to Canadian (even though our dollar is close to the US there's still a difference)


i do however have a brown bag with the outline of mickey heads that i got at the mickey store a few years ago that i brought down with my this past spring. i didn't take it to the parks and only used it while we drove down and to check in (it got nice comments from the cm at the desk) and going to GF Tea that day. then i didn't use it again until we checked into the DCL cruise and on the drive home

i wouldn't take that DB one to the park either but i would use it for the same thing i did my brown one.
