I think that maybe those sellers with the $200+ wristlets saw the cosmetic bags going for a lot (though I didn't see any that went for THAT much) and thought that maybe they could get that much for the wristlets? I doubt they will unless they get an "uneducated buyer." LOL

Judging by how much some of the regular bags have sold for lately, I'd say ebay has been flooded with"uneducated" buyers. I think maybe the event clued a lot of people into the whole Disney Dooney relationship that had no idea.

I caved this weekend and bought the lettercarrier and the Champsac from Fourparks and now that I am reading that the bags are back ordered I'm glad I did. I thought Fourparks had the fairest prices, no waiting for back orders and free ship. Mine has shipped already so I can't wait to get it

I agree - that's exactly why I decided to buy from fourparks too. I have received my shipping notice too!

I think they are counting on an uneducated buyer, and they probably have them listed for sale in all countries. Not all sellers do that. They are probably just waiting for that one person to pay that much and then laugh all the way to the bank.

I too have been looking at fourparks auctions, they seem to have the best prices, i am tempted to buy from them , but i will be at DISNEY in 24 days, just don't know if i can wait that long! lol

I had seen these items before. They were originally $199, then, $219, and the price has been increased. In my opinion, the placement is good, but not worth that amount. I would buy a medium cindy tote for that amount and get more use from it. Also, it you read most auctions, they are saying "Only available at Disney, no other place. Many buyers don't know they can buy it through WD Merchandising.

So my dh pulled some strings with family and was able to get me the new crossover on Ebay tonight! He said it is a present to help make me happy since I am so sick right now. We paid a total of $93, not sure if we paid too much or not but at least we don't have to wait for backorders. Of course it is silly for me to get a purse since I am pretty much bedridden but it can lay in bed with me along with my sketch print

The placement is very nice, but still. Bought DD a wristlet at Disney a couple of weeks ago and the placement isn't great at all, but at the time I wasn't as educated on the bags as I am now or I would have been choosier. She doesn't seem to mind much, but she did comment that even though she doesn't like the bigger sketches (she's 15), the nice thing about them is you get to see more of the pattern. I think she's just happy to be walking around with a $49 Dooney wristlet .

I have a TZ something or another too and love it. Had an earlier version of the Panasonic Lumix that was a bit on the larger side so after a few years I bought a newer version that's smaller. I love the zoom.

Page one, first post on this thread has all the info. World of disney usually has a great selection. The only issue there, is you have to have the CMs show you individual bags.Next stop, TREN-D in the same area in downtown disney. Now, at Summer Lace boutique, at the Grand Floridian, there is usually a big display and the bags are already out there for you to choose from. No need to ask the CMS for their help. Remember, If you find a bag that you like better , you can exchange it at the new store where you are making your purchase. I have done this

Check the first post of this thread for a list of bags and their locations. Luckily, you can walk next door to the Yacht Club gift shop and pick up yours. I would guess best selection would be at WoD and TrenD in DTD.

Be sure to report back your finds and any details you might find out.

Of course these are just the White Sketch and Black Wonder but still. I believe that WDW Merch is a separate entity from the actual parks because in all the pages here merch says that they are backordered and yet the stores in the parks have supply. Even if one is low supply you can go to another and there are plenty.

Just trying to put your minds at ease. (of course a friend of mine is going in March and I'm thinking of having her grab a few for me if the AP discount is still happening. We are going in May but I like the idea of 20% off!)

I really dislike waiting for the bus to DTD... for some reason it seems like that one from the MK resorts takes forever to arrive... I know really I would like a CM to just deliver a selection to my room like room service, is that too much to ask?!? LOL!

YEAH!!!! Purchased Champsac from fourparks on ebay. Spent $260 total, which isn't too bad, considering base price, sales tax I would have paid in Fl., and shipping. So happy!

Decided to do that after speaking to WDW merchandising yesterday afternoon, and they said those were backordered and they didn't know when/if they'd get them.
