Glad to see some fellow Texans here. the weather has been great this weekend.. mid 80s. Maybe my high school daughter will get lucky for Spring Break and have this same weather in March. She and her friends are hoping to go to South Padre Island for some concerts.

Glad to see some fellow Texans here. the weather has been great this weekend.. mid 80s. Maybe my high school daughter will get lucky for Spring Break and have this same weather in March. She and her friends are hoping to go to South Padre Island for some concerts.

Yes, the weather was surprisingly beautiful. We hit the La Cantera Mall on Friday and the San Marcos Outlets! It was nice walking weather. My younger kids and I went to our neighborhood park for a couple hours yesterday. They rode their bikes and I walked our doggie. I hope South Padre is nice too. We usually spend a few days in Corpus. See the Lexington and Aquairium. We do that every year.

I'm thinking of ordering 5 Lucy Sketch bags on disneystore.com hoping to get good placement on one of them (good placement for me is Mickey and the castle). Has anyone had any luck doing this? I know it's really a long shot but just wanted to see everyone else's experience. This bag is not in the parks, right? Thanks!

I think thread number 3 was when the Lucy first came out, several people bought multiples to get a shot at good placement. There are pics to see too. I ordered 2 and was lucky with both of mine. My sister got the extra.


I sent my comic satchel back to Dooney today with a laundry list of complaints, we'll see what they have to say.

If you did this, would you be willing to sell one of the bags you didn't want? I've been lusting after the Lucy bags for a year now, but ordering multiple bags to be shipped to Canada would be insane (shipping and taxes could buy me another bag). Being able to see placement before hand, though, would be amazing...

Hi Lisa,

The Lucy bag has never made it to WDW and is only available online. I took my chances and ordered it when there was free shipping and 25% off. At first I was disappointed that my bag did not have a Minnie on it, but I ended up loving it after a while. I really wish that they would make more patterns in the Lucy style. It's the only Dooney bag that seems to work for me as an everyday purse. All the others are the wrong size or shape to feel comfortable. I just never want to use it because I am afraid it will get dirty or yellow. Good luck if you end up ordering. Certainly sounds like there are several ladies you could swap with if you ended up with some you were crazy about. Here's pictures of my Lucy.

My Aulani Bag just got here today! YAY! After talking with the Post office here and in Hawaii. It finally arrived! I'm posting pics now. Also, I'm going to post my new 40th Anniversary Wristlet and Celeste's Comic bag that I bought her a couple years ago at that Coke tasting place in Epcot. It looks like the Comic bags by Dooney but in color. I think the pics of the Aulani Bag don't do it justice. In person it's a very beautiful bag!

I remember thinking the same thing when I got mine, the pics don't do it justice, it is more beautiful in person.
