I remember thinking the same thing when I got mine, the pics don't do it justice, it is more beautiful in person.

I know! I thought it was going to be huge! I saw many pictures before I bought it. I kept thinking how am I going to fill it up. And boy did it look shiny. But then it got here and the leather is so nice and it's not shiny at all. I love the size! The feel! It's actually a bit smaller than the Juicy Couture I use with my dog! Le Amor!!

What do you all use to protect your bags-mink oil, saddle soap? What works best?

I actually don't treat my bags. I haven't treated any of them. I just wipe them with water. No soap or chemicals. I'm going to look into it though. I have an Ivy one and a Bone colored one that needs attending to by Dooney. Those I bought back in the 90's. lol!

Oh I loved that one too! But I figured since I had the sketch tassel I needed the brown one to have something different. I read on here that somebody paid $400 or wouldn't pay over $400 for an Aulani bag. I don't remember who it was but that's what I offered for this one! I picked a couple that I liked and sent the seller a message. They accepted and that's what I paid! I was so excited! The leather ones are super expensive! They seem to be going up in price too?!

I just finally got a shipping notice from DS.com. I ordered last Wednesday! I was starting to worry that my package would not get here before my trip. I ordered the blue comic wristlet, and this t-shirt to wear on my birthday.

My Aulani Bag just got here today! YAY! After talking with the Post office here and in Hawaii. It finally arrived! I'm posting pics now. Also, I'm going to post my new 40th Anniversary Wristlet and Celeste's Comic bag that I bought her a couple years ago at that Coke tasting place in Epcot. It looks like the Comic bags by Dooney but in color. I think the pics of the Aulani Bag don't do it justice. In person it's a very beautiful bag!

I know! We've never been during spring break! DONE memorial day, labor day, christmas, thanksgiving, july, august, brazil tour groups, etc....but not march! Looking forward to it! And PM me before the date so we can meet by the pool! (dooney meet! )
