GREAT NEWS! My hunny bought me the Aulani bag! I'll post pics as soon as it arrives!! I picked it out and he paid for it! I think it has great placement too! I'm doing my happy dance!:cheer2::banana::cheer2:

Hello Dooney Disney Fans!

I have saved up and been very good with not splurging on things so that I can get another Disney Dooney soon! Right now I am really liking the Minnie Mouse design but was wondering if anyone knows about how often they release new designs? I would hate to order this design and a new design I like come out! Can anyone help me with this????
 
Why, or why, do they list things on disneystore.com that when you click on them, it says they're sold out? I have had my eye on the Mickey tea pot and a non-Dooney shoulder bag for two weeks. Sometimes they're on the website and sometimes they're not. When they are, they say sold out. :confused3

That's not cool at all! I had my heart set on the Mickey watch and for almost a yr it was there. Then I had a friend that bought a watch from JC penny and I went back to DS the watch was gone. :-(
 
Also, I saw a ton of the sketch crossbody bags in the shops, and was surprised to see that no markdowns had been taken. Now, I know there are advantages to buying in person, so for some it'll make sense to pay that premium. But the principle of the thing really bothers me when things are marked down on the web but not on site. Harumph.

If you are comapring Disneystore.com to the merchandise offering at the parks (Walt Disney World for example), you are comparing apples to oranges. or rather Consumer Products to Parks & Resorts. ;)
 
Hmm... not so happy right now. My new Minnie bow bag seems to be defective. The metal hardware that holds the strap rings to the bags keep coming open, on both ends! :mad:

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know if I should call Disney or Dooney? I ordered the bag from DS.com.

Someone on the fb page had a problem with one they bought from the parks and they were told to contact Disney, so I would recommend you start there. So sorry this is happening:sad2:I really feel bad for you and sending pixie dust this gets resolved quickly to your satisfaction:wizard::wizard:

I called DS.com this morning. They are going to send me a return tag and then ship me a new bag once they get the damaged one. I expect that the process is going to take a while! At least placement is not too much of an issue with this bag.

Here is a picture of the damage. It is like this on both sides.

Wow, Lynn, that damage is a lot worse than I was picturing :furious: I agree that placement is not as important with this pattern :thumbsup2
 
I called DS.com this morning. They are going to send me a return tag and then ship me a new bag once they get the damaged one. I expect that the process is going to take a while! At least placement is not too much of an issue with this bag.

Here is a picture of the damage. It is like this on both sides.

Don't be so sure it will take a long time. I ordered a Disneyland 55th bucket bag last Monday when they had the 25% off code. I received it last Friday, but there were indentations on all four of the leather pieces that attach the handles to the bag. It looked like something had been digging into them all through shipment or something. I called the Disney Store on Saturday. They told me the same thing they told you: they would send me a label and send out a replacement when they received the original back. Imagine my surprise when I received a shipping notification on Sunday night! They shipped the replacement on Monday by UPS 2nd day air and I received it yesterday (Wednesday), only 4 days after I called! I didn't even receive the label until Tuesday and shipped the first bag back today. Now I might have just gotten very lucky, but I hope it is just as fast for you!

When tracking says estimated arrival January 3rd is that the exact date? Can it arrive earlier?? I'm so wishing for earlier! Like by Christmas!!! LOL! Here's to wishing, hoping, and praying!

I bet you were excited and dissapointed all at the same time! How upsetting! I feel your pain. I get all worked up and excited over the wait then when something arrives wrong I just feel awful.
