Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

When tracking says estimated arrival January 3rd is that the exact date? Can it arrive earlier?? I'm so wishing for earlier! Like by Christmas!!! LOL! Here's to wishing, hoping, and praying!

Don't be so sure it will take a long time. I ordered a Disneyland 55th bucket bag last Monday when they had the 25% off code. I received it last Friday, but there were indentations on all four of the leather pieces that attach the handles to the bag. It looked like something had been digging into them all through shipment or something. I called the Disney Store on Saturday. They told me the same thing they told you: they would send me a label and send out a replacement when they received the original back. Imagine my surprise when I received a shipping notification on Sunday night! They shipped the replacement on Monday by UPS 2nd day air and I received it yesterday (Wednesday), only 4 days after I called! I didn't even receive the label until Tuesday and shipped the first bag back today. Now I might have just gotten very lucky, but I hope it is just as fast for you!

You were right! I just got an e-mail that they shipped the new bag. I still haven't gotten the label to return the damaged one though.

Awesome! I don't know why they say one thing and do another, but at least you'll get your new bag soon! I didn't get my label until 3 days after I called. I actually called them back after I got the shipping notice because I hadn't received the label yet. They said it could take up to a week to arrive. I don't know what takes so long to send something by e-mail. I hope your new bag is flawless!

Technically the back has better placement than the front with Mickey and Minnie in the center, but I love the Disneyland logo with the flags on the front. The first damaged bag didn't have it anywhere, and I really wanted it.

Also, does anyone else absolutely love the smell of the bags? It fades with time, but right now when I walk into my spare bedroom where my Dooneys are kept, I can smell the glorious leather! I am such an addict LOL!

Comic Satchel is on Disneyshopping! I couldn't get one while there, so I just ordered it. Between my balloon bag credits from last year, visa disount and ebay money it only cost me $19.59. who hoo!! Doing the happy dance!

I have been going back and forth with my decision of purchasing Disney D&B bag, mainly because I carry coach purses and I love the feel of soft leather. However when I saw the new comic strip D&B purse with the light blue trim on DS.com I was ready to purchase until I saw the close up pictures and the I became concerned about the quality-comparing it to the new line of purses coach has been coming out with recently which I really dislike.....THANK YOU very much for your honest critique and wonderful pictures of the Disney D&B line you answered my many questions and put to rest my worries...now I will try my best to hold out until we go to Disney( Oct 2012) so that I can pick the best placement that suits me.....I've learned so much

Merry Christmas to you as well. You have a trip coming up, right? Hope you have an awesome time. We didn't think we would be going in 2012 because DD17 didn't want to miss any school. Now we're thinking about going mid-March over her spring break. The only thing stopping us are the higher than we're used to paying prices, and the higher than we're used to crowds.

My daughter got me the white and the black bow wristlets. It was funny because I got her the small white bow purse. Hope every one had a great holiday and got some new bags.
