I just read that there are no more Princess bags left at World of Disney That didn't take long

I hope they get new stock in quickly. I'll be soooo upset if I don't get one.

One of the CMs at our Disney Store just came home from WDW this morning. She said she saw some of the Retro print bags at World of Disney. I hope she's right!!

Is it possible she thought the Princess bags were the Retro print? Disney has said WDW Retro bags won't be available until later this summer. They're making a pretty big deal of the Retro release at DLR. I assume they'll probably do the same at WDW.

At first I thought both the Princess and Tink bags would be readily available after the races, just without the medallions. Then I began to wonder if they really were intended as event only items. Now I'm baffled.

Did they find a few stray boxes left over after marathon weekend somewhere, or did they make more bags? Will tons of them start showing up, or was it a small run... maybe to test demand, or ??? I suppose only time will tell.

Im more of a needing a zipper type of gal so, maybe since they have snaps, it will save me money??? Will be at WDW and on the Fantasy in a month so we will have to see what I come home with

Such restraint! I admit I've bought Disney Dooney bags I knew weren't the best fit for me just because I couldn't resist how darn cute they were. Of course they're in my wardrobe with the tags still on.

I hope one day they'll come out with the perfect Disney Dooney for me; size, style, and print wise. I'm like you chinarider, that means a zipper closure.

Yeah, I had thought of that. I'm just really, really hoping they'll have the Retro print bags out in a month, since that's when we'll be there. Though, from what I've read here, that most likely will not be the case. Ah, well!

Not sure about Mother's Day but I believe they usually do one for Memorial Day

Is any one going to Vault 28 on Sat for the new bags? I wonder how early people will line up for it?

We had family in town and spent the better part of the last week at DL & DCA and I never saw the Tink marathon bags on display. Granted, we weren't looking for them specifically, but we like to go in the shops and I always peek at the Dooney's.

When they do the special Dooney & Bourke "Retro Collection" Debut & Signing on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Disney Vault 28 they are supposed to have some Tink purses.

can someone please help me...i want to buy my nanny an aulani dooney and bourke bag to use as a diaper bag (she is expecting)...i like the colored one (not the brown one)...i see them on ebay and such but they are listed as "medium"...is there a large too? or just a medium? we will be at aulani this summer and i am trying to plan ahead.....do you think the medium would be an ok size for a diaper bag?

It's a medium for D&B totes in general, but it's the only size available in the Aulani pattern.

I would have had a really hard time making it work as a diaper bag, but I like bigger bags in general.

There are people who prefer to keep all their bags as small as possible, it might be do-able for someone like that.

It's such a fun print! Even if you got it with the idea of using it as a diaper bag and it didn't work for her in that way, I'm sure she could find something to do with it. Either way I think it's a very nice gift.

Aulani sounds wonderful, I hope you have a fabulous vacation there!

There are already some of the Buttons bags on eBay, although the listings look rather hastily put together and the photos aren't that great. Still, it's a closer look at the pattern!

Another Buttons bag is up on eBay, and one of the Disneyland retro iPad cases! Oh brother. I am really excited for the WDW retro print too!! To be honest both the buttons and the retro look great.

I have a Siamese cat and am a total sucker for ANYTHING with Si and Am on it (like the Buttons pattern)!

There is lots of great news posted over on the Dooney Facebook page including a new, wider bottom brown leather cross body bag that was just unpacked at Vault 28 today
