Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

I hope to get my husband to go to DTD today. He went there yesterday evening and as soon as he saw how crowded it was he left So he said he would try again today before he leaves Orlando.

So, does the comic satchel only come in the red trim? I was hoping for black trim.

I believe it comes in blue trim also, a light blue.

I got that turkey from Lulu's mom, too and I am so dumb I can't get it to work for me. I think I need to take a computer course. You made it look so cute surrounding MIckey and Minnie. I also love Lulu's mom parade of her purses. I would love all of us to have that. I am still trying to figure out how to post pics here. I have had two people give me the steps and then it doesn't work when I do it

I love the scrolling purses also, but have no idea how to do that

Catira~I was hoping for the blue trim on the satchel, but it looks like only the red is available.
Guess I get what I get! LOL

Not wanting to be the bearer of bad news, but on the fb page after they were first seen and bought at the World someone called mail order and got the sku numbers and the colors. They are posted on the first page of this thread. The satchel has red trim. The barrell has red trim. The mini barrel has black trim and the wristlet has blue trim. That coincides with the news bulletin Disney did on the purses. There has not been any shown in any other colors than these so far, so I do think that is accurate. They may change it as time goes on but at present that seems to be the colors and bags. AGain, sorry to disappoint.

Had my first red comic satchel siting at Mouse Gears this afternoon. I really liked the bag a lot better than I thought I would after seeing it in person. The size is smaller and more functional (for me) than I had imagined from seeing the online pictures. I didn't snap any photos since we were feeling super tired and perhaps overindulged a bit in the last day of the Food and Wine Fest. Will have to check out the satchel again. Was at DTD yesterday for Festival of the Masters and they still only had the small barrel and wristlet in the comic. I have not seen any other comic color variations.

Finally convinced husband to go to DTD today. He went to WOD and was informed the red comic satchel had been sold out since last week at that location. They had the black barrel and the blue wristlet..neither of which I want. Then I sent him off to TREN-D and no luck there either.

So, if anyone will be going soon and is willing to buy one for me I would greatly appreciate it. I will be more than glad to return the favor when I go in June if someone needs something.

Just got my 40th kristen tote from WDW mail order and I LOVE the placement! I actually got it around 5pm on Friday which was sooner than I expected, 10 days after ordering. However I did not open the box until a few minutes ago. I was afraid of opening it and being dissapointed with the placement and I didnt want that to ruin my weekend as silly as that sounds. I finally got the nerve to do it tonight while killing time waiting to log on to do my Palo reservations for my cruise at midnight, and I was so nervous cutting through the box, unwrapping the plastic, then the tissue, it was so unnerving but I was quickly relieved when I finally got to it and saw the awesome placement:

This is the only Dooney I've ordered and not picked out carefully in person, and I hope not to have to do it again since I'm very picky, but I'm relieved that it worked out and can't wait to wear it to work tomorrow!

All of themI have the medium sketch, the lucy bag, the aulani bag, the minnie bow pouchette in white, and I just got the new comic satchel which has a white background. I never worried about this before but someone else was talking about their winter and summer purses and then I got worried that I was doing the wrong thing and looking rediculous. I worry way too much about the dumbest things, as you can see.

I have the opposite. Almost every Disney bag I own is on a black background. I use them all the time, regardless of season.

Kathy.. I will definitely keep you in mind in case I am not able to find a satchel before your trip. But as you mentioned.. sometimes the disney addiction is not too patient
