The only thing I don't like about the Aulani sketch is that the color appears muted. I wonder if it is more vibrant in person? Oh, and I wonder if there are other styles other than the two Aulani bags posted here?

Don't know about the color, but on the DDB facabook page they posted pics of a wristlet, cross-body letter carrier, and the tote, if I'm not mistaken.

The Aulani bags are so cute! Even better, it means (I hope!) that the Disney-Dooney relationship will continue. The Sept/Oct new print sounds very intriguing. The best information is always here on the Dis!

Thanks for telling me about the pics on the FB page. The color seems brighter than the pic posted on this thread (but maybe not as vibrant as the original sketch). Love the Hawaiian theme! I agree with the poster who said they should sell these at the Polynesian w/out the Aulani logos.

So I noticed the sign says "two per item per guest"." Do you think you have to be STAYING at the resort to buy the merchandise and that you can't just walk in and go to the gift shop and buy stuff? Why limit the stuff anyway if they are going to eventually sell it on ds.com and/or at the outlets? If they don't limit it, maybe they won't have so much that they have to send it to the outlet and mark it down 40%, lol!

Add me to the list of people who love the new Aulani bags, especially the real colorful one. Unfortunately, I don't think my travels will take me to Hawaii for a very long time, if ever. There's just something about the hula Mickey and Minnie that puts a smile on my face.

If I ever get to Aulani I'll be bringing a bag or two back for sure. Maybe I should head over to the DVC boards to check out reviews of the resort.

So what does everyone think of the brown bag?
I think I like the texture, but I do feel you lose some detail, especially on the smaller images, without color. Hmm, I guess I'd have to see and touch that one in person before making a decision. If I'm reading the tag correctly it looks like the price is $330.

I guess the brown textured bag is good if you just want a subtle hint of Disney but don't want to scream Disney.

Long time lurker here! Thanks for all the great info!!

I'm going to be at WDW next week and I am hoping to get a Sketch bag (undecided which one)! Going to the D & B Outlet as well. I will post pics if I see anything worth posting!

But now I have a problem...like most of you! I WANT WANT WANT the new Aulani pattern too!!!

The only advantage I have is my 25 yr old son is in the Army and stationed out there in Hawaii!! I guess I could have him go in and take pics of each bag, front and back so I can pic of placement?? Not so sure a young guy would want to stay (or be seen) in the purse department very long!! I know he would do it for his mom, but could you imagine the razzing he would get at work?? I know almost all the guys who work with him and it wouldn't be pretty!

We are going next June to visit, so if I have to wait...well, I DON'T WANNA WAIT!!

Oh, and thanks Jeff for such great pics...you just cost me a few hundred bucks!

I was there Aug 20 - 28 and didn't see any stripe except the black and white tote bag. Good luck tracking one down!

Well, I bought myself another Disney Dooney late last night. I ended up getting the red & white striped Mickey wristlet from the Disney Store. I didn't really care for it that much at first, but after a while it just kind of grew on me. I used the code to get 25% off and the site also allowed me to use the DOONEY code to get the cosmetic bag. Hopefully the cosmetic bag actually comes and wasn't just a glitch; I've been really wanting one of them :
