Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

Did anyone else get a registration card with their Disney dooney? I bought two in the parks and one from disney online, and I don't recall receiving one with any of the purchases!

In other news, I'm going to head out to Clinton Crossing this afternoon, and I'm going to check out the D&B outlet. I'll let you all know what type of Disney bags they have, and if any of them happen to come home with me. Nothing says hurricane preparedness like a new Disney Dooney!

My first thought when I heard about Irene was "Oh no the makeup bag that is supposed to arrive is going to get lost in a hurricane!"

Sky is clear here, anyone want to place bets as to if the bag actually shows up?

Mine said it shipped out but no tracking number so my guess is its snail mailed by way of CHina...itll be years before it gets here 023

Yes, it is aggravating enough they don't keep their word but at least it was free. Somehow though that doesn't seem right to promise something and then not follow thru. Maybe I live in a dream world but I feel people and businesses should be honest.

I emailed Neiman Marcus to bring it to their attention that they did not ship my order so that I would receive it by this weekend like they were advertising. They replied that they will expedite my next order for free. I know there is really nothing else they can offer but the only time I order from them is when it's free shipping anyway so it's not really too much of a consolation prize.

I also feel that way-if something is advertised-you should get it. Like with the Disney cosmetic bag, I had a code for free shipping, yet they charged me $4.95 to ship the cosmetic bag? I just dont understand some businesses-if you advertise one thing-stick with it!!!

When you get your order #, call customer service - they'll refund the $4.95 (or offer you a gift card for that amount). It seems like EVERYONE I know who orderd the makeup bag was charged this but got the refund no problem once they called. Good luck!

I *cough* am not sure I want to do that cuz they *cough* seemed to have refunded a majority of my original purchase so I dont think I should be mad at paying shipping

The first one will get lonely...with the expo2011 code and the visa discount it was only $34....

I can't believe I just typed that...I hate paying more than that for jeans.

Ok, so I am back from my reconnaissance mission in Clinton! I am happy to report that they did have Disney dooney's and I took photos of the selection. It was mostly inaugural dream bags and the colorful mickeys, but there was one tonal wristlet (which I did not photo) and one little beauty that did come home with me

I was thrilled that they had the wallet, I've really been wanting one! I am currently using my tonal wristlet as a wallet, so now I have the dilemma whether I should sell my barely used wristlet, or just go ahead and keep it!

All the bags at the outlet were 40% off, so that means I got the wallet for $105 before tax. Considering most of the ones I've seen on ebay go for almost twice that, I'd consider this quite a score.

My only disappointment was that the sales lady, (who also is a big Disney fan!), told me that they had two champ sacs that morning, and had sold both of them! I was really wanting a champ sac!

But, the silver lining is that she added my name to an e-mail list and she will alert us when new bags come in. Maybe next time I am up in CT that champ sac will be mine!

I was shopping with my mom, who does a lot of traveling, and consequently a lot of shopping at outlet malls, and she is now on a mission to find more Disney Dooneys, so it is good to have a partner in crime.

All in all I think my day shopping was way more productive than getting ready for a silly hurricane, don't you agree!

Did you happen to notice how much the Dream bags were? Were they 40% off too? I just got off the Dream and didn't get one but if they were 40% off....hmmm! I was at the Dooney outlet in Orlando two weeks ago and the only had a few Disney bags, but no Dream ones.

I think it's good on everything. i used it on Vinylamtions too. Expo2011 is the code. I think it's 15%?

The medium tote with the long handles is $295 MSRP, which would make it $177, the satchel with the shorter handles (and one long strap) is $275 MSRP which would make it $165, and the letter carrier is $165 MSRP which would make it $99.
