Congratulations on your first Disney Dooney We would love to see a picture of it Where did you get it??

I bought it off of EBAY.. Its not my first Dooney, but it is my first Disney Dooney...( I know that unlike some I am not super particular about placement, I felt like the one I chose represented Walt very well..(After all he is the one who started it all.) I will post as soon as I receive it.Do you know if it will hold a small camera, cell and some lipstick? Otherwise, I am ordering another..LOL

Agree with Mary.. we need pics I have three letter carriers but have not used them. But, my sister has one and she carries her small wallet, cell phone, compact, lipstick, and car keys.

Walt is one of the things I want on my 40th anniversary bag too I have a list of about 9 things I want on either the bucket bag or the messenger so we will see how I do with that wish list when I go next month

So I stopped by the TJMaxx in Portsmouth, NH today in between hockey games. No Dooneys or luggage there. It was crazy busy though!

Yes, sorry, it was our local Disney Outlet store in Sunrise Florida.

About a week ago the Vineland Ave. outlet near WDW had the Minnie faces satchel, and the price was $89. They had quite a few. But no pouchettes at all. I actually like the satchel a lot!

Do you shop the two stores often? Which one has better selection and prices? I just rec'd a free ticket to Seaworld, so I am thinking of going there instead of driving around town shopping the outlets

I bought the 40th anniv print wristlet yesterday at MouseGears. The girl working there was very sweet, after I looked over the 4 she had out, she said she'd see if any more were in the cabinet and brought out about 20 still wrapped up for me to go through.
I found a great one, will post pictures soon. I was surprised there was no duck on it though...
Goes in my messenger bag perfectly.

I like the Vineland Ave. outlet a lot but haven't been to the one on International Drive in a long time. There are also 2 Disney outlet stores in the Lake Buena Vista Outlets but they're both pretty small with limited selection. Neither had Dooneys! Since the stores are run by Disney I think the prices are consistent..but I'm not positive. I'm not sure this very helpful! Seaworld is great! And getting in free is awesome!

I saw those bags at the NYC Disney Store last night. Wonder why they have those but not the Dooneys? There's definitely not as much park exclusive merch as they had at the old WOD on 55th and 5th. Just like a large Disney store now...although I do like the NYC disney merch.

I really miss the old 5th Ave store. I wasn't overly impressed with the new location.

Okay, call it non-buyer's remorse , but I truly regret not buying a 40th anniversary bag during our February trip. While we were there, I felt like they were too much like the 55th anniversary bags (which Hawky was so nice to get for me ), and I opted instead for a bag and wallet from the England pavilion at the WS. Don't get me wrong, I love what I bought and I'm using them now, but it's just not the same! So ... I'm heading back down for a conference at the Swan early next month. I'll have some free time one day, so I'm going to go over to DTD to see what I can find there. Wish me luck!

The 55th bag I have is a messenger. I also have a medium Cindy sketch (original) and a tonal Mickey letter carrier/cross-body bag. What 40th bag do you think would complement them?

blondinkaya, I feel the same way. We were there in February too and I just couldn't make up my mind so I came home empty handed and am now feeling bad about it. Unfortunately, I won't be going back until maybe next year. I know I could order online, but I guess I still don't know what I want. My problem is that I'm not totally in love with either the Bucket or the Messenger.

I think those Harvey bags are GORGEOUS! Especially their insides! The detail is VERY pretty and it's a great way to use those seatbelts!

The seatbelt bags are really cute but they're very heavy. Dooneys can weigh a lot too but the Harvey bags feel much heavier to me - and this is when they're empty!

I was just at WDW and the DL 55th was not for sale. the WDW 40th was in the parks. MK and Epcot had the best selection behind the WOD store in DtD.

Yes, I was looking at them online, was going to have it shipped to our resort in 2 weeks but i would really like to see it before I buy it. Were the prices the same as in WDW?
