Is that the Cosmetic bag that they did as the promo? I'm really bummed I didn't buy anything when they were doing that. I would liked to have had one of those.

It is - I got it with my black margot during the cyber monday sale.

My collection is exactly the same as this, but take out the tonal wristlet and add the 40th messenger bag instead and a yellow sketch crossbody LOL.

A wallet would look nice with them all!!

I really want the 40th in a wallet but I'm afraid good placement is going to be so hard to find. Jealous of your yellow crossbody - I almost bought a blue one but decided I really couldn't afford and/or need it at the time.

Honestly, it's really too darn small to be functional anyway. It's so flat, you can fit hardly anything in it. I much prefer the Margot for a small bag.

Hello to everyone. I have been avoiding looking at these post for almost a year. I knew the moment I did the obsession would begin. I have spent the last few days reading through and looking at everyone's collection. They are all gorgeous. Thank you all for posting such great pics. We will be at Disney World in late July and I hope to buy a 40th. I have been looking at ebay too because I want to go ahead and get a sketch now - it was recently my birthday and I am treating myself. I saw a picture from someones collection that I really liked. I did some research and discovered it was the Faces of Mickey satchel but I cannot find anywhere to purchase. Does anybody have any ideas? I just fell in love with it. Perhaps it is just too late and my delay at reading this forum will now haunt me forever. I look forward to continue reading all your posts and seeing your beautiful pics - and hope to have a collection of my own to post one day too!!

I still see bags from the Mickey Faces, Minnie Faces, Tonal, and Wonder collections around Disneyland ocassionally. But I'm thinking it might just be when they've found a stray box in the back somewhere since they seem to be clearing those collections out.

You could try WDW Merchandising, I found an old screen shot from DS, I assume they use the same stock numbers:

I think your other option is probably e-bay. I've actually seen some really nice prices on Disney Dooney bags there.

I *think* the cosmetic bag is a tiny bit larger than the wristlet, but I haven't measured them to be sure.

The wristlet does come with the strap, and it closes with a snap on the flap; the cosmetic bag has a zipper.

I have a purple sketch wristlet but I like the zipper on the cosmetic bags...but I like the strap on the wristlets...

I am looking at cosmetic bags on ebay.

The wristlets are smaller than the cosmetic bag They have a snap closure and a removable leather wrist strap The cosmetic bag is bigger and has a zipper closing The wristlet strap can be taken off and will fit on the cosmetic bag

I agree, Liza I really need to pick up and hold the wallet to find my perfect placement It is so hard to tell by a picture My countdown is under 50 days now and I cannot wait to see the 40 anniversary for myself

Thanks for lead, I did check it out, there was 1 bid but when I bid it immediately told me I was outbid. I tried several time with the same response. I think I will just watch it - I would love to have the bag but not willing to spend more than its worth.

Thanks for the info. I have my eye on two bags. I really want the 40th anniversary Messenger, and I would like the princess tote. But I am also really picky about placement and I know exactly what I want each bag to look like. Hopefully I will find what I am looking for.

There's a princess bag on e-bay right now that has the placement that I want, but I am hoping to get it in person. I want Belle centered in the front of the bag with the rose and the castle visible.

For the messenger, I would like to have a full Donald and a full Goofy on the front. Those characters both have special meaning for me.

Lynn, I think what makes these Disney Dooney bags so very popular is that there are so many images and placements which appeal to so many different people This allows us to personalize and customize our bags so to speak Like you, I look for certain images on my bags and feel so lucky I found a blue sketch wristlet with 3 Tinks and 3 castles on it I am so looking forward to finding my perfect placement on a 40th bucket bag, wristlet and still debating, a wallet

I always wanted a seatbelt bag so ordering the Disney Harveys allowed me to combine that with my love of Disney. So you can see mixed in with the Dooney's my seatbelt bags and wallet.




The boss decided she couldn't spare another moment allowing me to photograph her purse so she came back to collect it while talking on her "phone".. I decided to give her the white sketch wristlet earlier today since I have never been happy with the placement.



Debating between ordering a 40th anniversary print off ebay, going to WDW, or waiting to see which one I'll get for my undergraduate graduation in April (or even for my birthday in a few weeks). I just purchased two Dream ones today from Claire (YAY!) so it will grow a little bit in the next few months but I don't anticipate any other additions. I should be good on purses for a while.

Periodically the bags pop up on ebay so just keep checking! I'm not sure if this small one is a stock photo, you might want to ask the seller. And keep checking disneyshopping, they frequently find a case of something and all of a sudden something you think is gone is back again.

Is the messenger bag a good size to be able to be picky about placement with the 40th print?

Beautiful collection!!! Would you mind posting some close ups of just the Princess bag? I've had my eye on that for a while and just can't make up my mind between that and the 40th!

I can see the perfect place for a wallet Great collection How do you like your Margo? I got a white one for the parks and can't wait to use it I love the letter carriers and would have loved one to match me blue wristlet but I think they would be too small for what I need to carry Have you used yours in the parks?? Did you notice the Margots went up $20 on the Disney shopping site
