I got my wristlet and satchel (princesses) last night and I wanted to share photos and get everyone's thoughts on placement?!! I am so excited as these are my first 'Disney Dooneys!' (Had other Dooneys, Coach etc. but these are TOO cute!).

I know placement is subjective but wanted to get the opinions of other Disney Dooney fanatics!

I think I like the placement on the Satchel, but not sure about the wristlet because it is the exact same thing on both sides, thoughts?

I just started reading this thread, and I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Krysten, and I too love the Dooney bags!
I bought my very first one last September on my honeymoon. I believe the print is called Wonder and it is a wristlet. I love, love, love it!
I thought that I was crazy because I went from store to store looking for the PERFECT bag -- now thanks to this thread, I know that I am not alone! Placement really is important, isn't it?

Anyway, enough of my rambling! I love all of your bags, and I will try and post a picture of my wristlet as soon as I get it on photobucket!

I think both purses are fine! It's hard to get good placement with the wristlets. Unless you are able to be at WDW and spend a lot of time tracking down the most perfect placement ever, I would be satisfied with what you have. Congrats & enjoy the purses! They are very cute!!!

I have seen them at WDW but did not look too closely in the fear that I would purchase.

I know alot of people have posted pictures of the Lucy bag but I am looking for a photo of the bag on someones shoulder. I do not like bags that hit right under the arm.

I have a 40th anniversary messanger bag and I love it and use it all the time but with spring and summer coming I would love a white bag and I think the Lucy bag would be good for me.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Lucy bag and how they like it. Thanks so much. Love this thread.

Welcome aboard. But let me warn you this is a dangerous bunch. What with people posting pics of their purses, and notification that disneystore.com is offering some kind of fantastic deal. You'd think some people around here were working on commission LOL. By the way, see you'll be staying at AKL. We've been there several times and LOVE it.

Lynn have a wonderful trip I have been checking ebay for disney dooney 40th anniversary merchandise and it seems there are very few. Just wondering if how availability is at the parks

Thanks Daizieduck. I ordered the mini margot purse. They are still accepting the DOONEY code for the cosmetic bag. Price is now $15.01. Also got the 10% off for disney visa and free shipping at SHIPTODAY since the order was more than $75.00. I have the crossover but is has no width. I hope the 2 inches width on the mini margot will make all the difference, however, since the margot is an inch shorter and 1/4 inch smaller in length I am really only gaining 3/4 of an inch. I guess I will find out when the purse arrives.
