New bags are on ebay. Three styles: 1 tote, 1 Erica -style, 1 pouchette? They come in black stripe and red stripe.

Oh that is not fair I had hoped an event would happen in October to coordinate with WDW 40th birthday. If anyone is there during the event we disney addicts would love to see pics

Is your birth date on the exact date as WDW's anniversary? My son's birthday is the same as Disneyland's-July 17th. Kind of neat

Not a fan of the red at all, and it's awfully busy for the big bag, but I really like the black wristlet...I don't have a wristlet yet LOL, was waiting for a cruiseline one, but I really like this one with the zipper.

My birthday is Oct.4th, 1971. So I am celebrating my 40th with disney. How neat that your son's bday is the same as disneyland's Now to wait and see if they will have the cosmetic bags for the upcoming event

I think the black is cute, but when I was looking at the photos the pattern hurts my eyes. Anyone else? Maybe, I just need glasses

I agree, it's like the vision tests they give 3 yr olds. The one posted 1 page back looked less busy, maybe because it was taken from the side. DH will be relieved.

The new pattern hurts my eyes, too. I'm not a fan, at all. Maybe that's a good thing, though!! At least I don't have to worry about that one in April! I'll just be on the hunt for the perfect 40th Anniversary print! Although, I'm still having a hard time figuring out which style I'd like!

I'll be curious to see how this new pattern sells!

I always try to reserve judgement until I see new patterns in person, but I admit I had the same busy lines feeling as many of you with this new release.


If Ian Ray is going to be at WDW for a signing, you'd think they'd do something with cosmetic bags from the line he's introducing. Of course a gift w/purchase is best, but even a purchase w/purchase like they did for the balloon collection would be nice. Maybe they're planning something and just haven't announced it yet?

Sheila I am thinking it will be the free cosmetic bag with minimum purchase similiar to past events.

Wow, I seriously checked this page thread this morning and it's added three pages since then!! So much can happen in the world of Disney/Dooney in just a few short hours!! I am thrilled to say that I don't love the new style, although it is still excited that a new one is out.

I have a Lucy also but I got it from eBay. There are pictures that I posted but I'm not sure what page they are on.

The problem is, the Lucy bag is (as far as we know) not sold in the parks or online at the moment.

No, you can get it from disneyshopping but not online. You have to call and possibly, have to have the item #. My mom got mine from them but she had to call multiple times to various places before she got anywhere. Then she was told it would be available online soon (that was about a month ago) and eventually someone she spoke to said she can just order it.

I'm a little confused. I am just checking this from my iPhone so the pictures are real small. Is the 40th anniversary bag that is out now the same bag that will be out next Saturday for the signing event. We are heading home tomorrow Sunday and I want to get a bag tomorrow? From the picture it looks like the same anniversary design but I can't tell for sure.

Linda it is the 40th anniversary print. Same print already available is the pattern they are referring to.
