Has anyone seen a black Margot bag at Disney World anywhere? I am dying to see one but do not want to order it! I have planned on getting one but need to see how comfortable it is to carry prior to purchase. I have disliked the feel of several bags that I thought about buying!

I did not see anyone mention this, so please forgive me if I missed it.

I just pulled up my original orders for my 2 Dooneys that I bought Cyber Monday. They added the Blk Heart dangle to my Black Balloon order and Beige Heart Dangle to my White Mini Margot. They both show as not shipped yet.

I did get the emails about the hearts coming...but I did not get the email others have got about backordered.

I just thought it may make others feel better that they can check the status themselvles without having to call Disney.

For anyone who is in Disney now and has seen this bag or may see it on their trip, would I be right in assuming that placement wouldn't be that much of an issue? Because it's so big, you would be guaranteed the characters you want? I like Mickey, Minnie, and the castle. Because it's so big, there would definitely be at least one of each of those, right? If it pops up on disneystore.com I may considering ordering it there but want to make sure I'd get the characters and the castle. Thanks!

Ok I'm IN, FINALLY!!!!!!!!! DH got me a wristlet for Chritmas, the white balloon mickey mouse design. I just love it, and am hoping the drawstring bag or satchel is following in Feb for our Anniversary or March for my birthday. I do know he ordered other stuff I didn't get at Christmas and has it locked up in the garage with strict do not snoop orders to me.

I have resisted the urge year after year after year to not buy one but I've been really drooling over some of the new designs for a while now so I was so excited to open up a present and see my very first D&B Disney bag. Here's hoping there are more to come in the next few months.

I saw someone wearing the black mini Margot bag with the balloon design at the Magic Kingdom last week. I absolutely loved it. I looked everywhere, but could not find any mini Margots for sale, black or white. I ordered the black from disneystore.com as soon as I got home. So I haven't actually gotten it, but I can tell you that the sketch letter carrier cross body bag is totally comfortable and I am almost 6 feet tall so sometimes cross body bags are too short for me, but not this one. I used it all week at Disney and LOVED IT.

It was in the MK on Dec. 19. A tall woman with long brown hair was wearing the black Margot. Was that you? I was exiting a ride, she was getting on. I can't remember which ride. I'm from Texas too btw - Austin area.

I've been to all four parks as well as downtown disney this xmas trip and have not seen the margot bag.

I got my 3rd backorder email this morning (for my cybermonday purchase). Est. shipping date is 1/28/10. For anyone that ordered on cybermonday you should be getting yours soon. For purchases after cybermonday I'd expect them to start trickling in. If you haven't received any notice yet and your acct doesn't reflect the backorder, as someone posted earlier, I'd give Disney a call.

Braved the cold temps and headed out to Magic Kingdom today. We ate at Pinocchio's Village and on the bottom of receipt was a 20% off coupon good at the Emporium and other select locations. Of course, went over to see if they had the overnight bag but no luck. Crossed the street to Uptown Jewelers and they had 2. But, coupon was valid at Emporium. Glad to know I am not the only one that didn't buy the overnight bag. I overheard a CM tell a customer that they are selling the overnight bags as quick as they come in.

I got to thinking about this.
Is there any rule about buying the bag at full price at Uptown, returning it to the Emporium, then re-purchasing it with the coupon there? Just a thought.

I also received the email about the tag for the bag I ordered. It did say somehting ab out shipping and I sent an email just checking that I would not be charged shipping and they sent an email back that I would not be charged for shipping. Hopefully we will all get our tags soon.

Finally saw the overnight bag... I was so tempted to buy it. I had $240 in disney rewards dollars but couldn't get myself to pay $395 for a bag I'll hardly use.

And for good measure, here's a picture of the DCL version too:

Here is a pic I took of the DCL overnighter.

Thankfully I'm not tempted by either one. I know that even my carry-on luggage takes a beating when I travel, so I'm sticking with bags I can toss around and not worry about too much. I don't want to be stressed over keeping Mickey looking pristine.

Those of you who are going for the overnighters are going to look stylin' though! I'll be admiring your bags as you pass me in the airport or at the resorts.
