That's great news! Still no phone call here, but maybe tomorrow. But, then I get the drawstring tomorrow, which will probably result in another phone call.

Really?? I emailed and this is the response I received from guest services...which is not acceptable to me. They will exchange the bag and it will be the exact same situation, I am sure;

reviewing your concern, I am happy to inform you, I have issued a
replacement at no charge to you. Also in order for us to replace this
Dooney and Burke Bag we have to have UPS to pick up the bag and return
to us. UPS will be out to pick up the defective bag and once we receive
the bag back, we will send the replacement. UPS should be there 3-5
business days for the pickup. If this does not resolve your concern or
if you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact us at (800) 328-0368.

So I just replied to the above email and told them that it is not acceptable...that I know someone else who was told they will ship the missing medallion. We will see what they say!

I got a Margot bag delivered today sans the medallion as well. I just e-mailed them about it and told them a new bag was not the solution. Just send me the heart medallion.......We shall see what happens......

For those curious about the size of the cosmetic bag (which, mine was also white despite ordering black bags) - I thought I'd share a picture. The cosmetic bag is just a smidge larger than the wristlet.

Additionally, I thought I'd post pics of the black margot. BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely adore it!!!

So this week is supposed to be a super annual pass holder Sale at world of Disney in Disneyland anyone know if the Dooney's are there. I planned a trip and im going to be there but is it worth it???

I sent guest services an email saying I did not want them to replace the bag...that I was sure a new bag would come the same way, and it was not worth the hassle to swap out the bag, so please just send me the medallion and I will put it on the bag myself. This is the response I received;

Honestly...I think I will be surprised if I get the missing piece. And I am sure my balloon pouchette that I ordered on Monday will come without the medallion as well. I just don't understand why the bags no longer have the medallion. Is Dooney getting cheap on us?? Or was this a huge mistake that these bags don't have the medallion? My sister was there on Black Friday she said they had the Erica's, the original sketch, and the Disneyland 55 bags. I specifically asked about the balloons and the princess ones and they didn't have those. Not sure about any others those were just the ones she mentioned. Hope that helps.

Personally I much prefer the letter carriers with leather trim on the pocket to the ones without. I have no idea why that change was made, but I'd hate to think it was purely a cost cutting measure.

As I understand it Dooneys, artwork, collectibles, etc have never been included in the special AP sales. I've heard that they do offer some good deals, but only on specially marked items.

Hi friends! I've read lots of this forum (and have lurked without registering for a few months), but I can't seem to find a photo with anyone holding the Susanna tote. Ladies were talking about it earlier in November. It appears to be the same size as the Large Sketch - if anyone has a photo, I'd love to see. I ordered it during the Cyber Monday sale and alas it hasn't shipped yet!
