I know everybody has all the feelings about the Mickey waffles…but nowhere have I seen mention of the donuts!

Yes, frozen then thawed Krispy Kreme are nothing like fresh hot ones. I live 15 min from a KK and could grab them hot any day I want. BUT, for some reason they thrill and delight my children who wake up asking for them every single morning on cruises. I haven’t seen it (maybe I missed it)mentioned in any of the Dream reviews or vlogs. Anyone know if they brought the donuts back to the cabanas buffet and/or room service?

Also wanting to know this - my daughter has been asking about the donuts for the upcoming cruise. And yes, we can (but almost never do) get KK donuts in town, For her, getting them each morning is a cruise highlight.

I thought she might be the only one - glad to see another person with an almost identical question!

I was wondering the same. We don’t live anywhere near a KK, but probably would rarely go. However, my kids are exactly the same with donuts being one of their cruise highlights!

Historically the cruises out of Port Canaveral have actual KK donuts everyday. They buy them in port and freeze them, then thaw out in the morning. Typically they have original and chocolate iced. They’re usually kinda wet and sticky from being frozen, but that doesn’t stop my kids.

WHERE AND WHEN??? We ate at Cabanas 3 days (Wed-Fri) and didn't see 1 donut! I was bummed!

We love Krispy Kreme donuts but find the ones on the ship not very good. They seem denser less fluffy. Must be because they freeze then thaw them or what we had thought was that they were making them fresh but from the European recipe mix which is different then the US mix.

My kids didn't think Krispy Kreme were a big deal because it seemed when they were in school every parent brought them in for the class on their child's birthday. All the Krispy Kremes here went out of business during the 2008 recession, thankfully the mom and pop donut shops fare better. Better donuts, lower price.

I love some fresh made donuts. We don’t even have those here! We have grocery store bakery made and that’s as good as it gets. So those frozen/thawed KK’s on the ship delight my kids and I’ll even have them at least once.

Donut hater here...but muffins? Cakes? Pies? Bring 'em on. I feel like we ate a lot of muffins at breakfast on the Fantasy.

Yes, they used to be the king of the giveaways here. Like I said most closed here, but there are a few new locations.

I am in the Mickey waffles camp when on a cruise! Drizzled with caramel, strawberries and whipped cream! It is late where I live and I am starving now after reading this thread!
