Donuts

Does anyone know where on Disney property, parks or resorts, where you could find a good old jelly or glazed donut? My DH just about flipped out when he went to the Boardwalk bakery and they had no donuts whatso ever. he loves his donuts and I even checked at the Hess station and they don't sell them anymore. He rarely eats them but on vacation he always splurges and gets atleast one. thanks for any info. If anyone knows of anyplace then i can be prepared for our August trip. Thanks

We had the Donald Duck character breakfast at Tusker House at AK in August and they have Krispy Kremes on the buffet. Glazed and chocolate (I think)

The resort shops sell donuts - but as I don't eat them I couldn't tell you if they are the type you are thinking of as I have never bought them. Hopefully some knowledgable donut-lover will come and help out, but if any donut will do, resort gift shops do have them.

I do remember donuts at the Dolphin when we were there a few years back.....I DO LOVE THE DONUTs at Typhoon Lagoon......those donuts are like the ones my grandmother used to make......they are delicious.
And the character breakfasts do have the glazed donuts....I dont remember seeing any jelly ones..

There is a Krispy Kreme on 192, just a couple miles from WDW property.

If you won't have a vehicle I'd suggest contacting the Dolphin resort. They used to have Krispy Kremes at their buffeteria (don't remember the name now) where you could buy just what you wanted and not have to pay for an entire buffet.

picabu is the name of the cafeteria at the dolphin....has good food too.

Main St Bakery had glazed donuts in May. They looked like Krispy Kremes.

My only other suggestions is that POFQ has beignets...They are basically like powdered donuts/fried dough. I think the dough has yeast.

BC concierge also used to have donuts, but I don't think they do any more.

One more place that's popping in my head are teh coffee kiosks. I ony got coffee there, but I think maybe they had donuts in the mornig. There's a kiosk at the TTC, and another out just outside AK where the tram drops you off. They are both operated by an outside company.

Quick walk from the Boardwalk over to Picabu at the Dolphin - open 24 hours and has Krispy Kremes and Starbucks brewed coffee (no lattes, etc., just brewed coffee, but still good) to go.

I'm pretty sure that OPR at CBR had donuts in their case every morning when we were there in June. I always chose the Chocolate Croissants, but I'm almost certain they had donuts.

DH and I went to the bakery this trip just for the donuts cause they are still showing how they are made on the food network and we were quite surprised to find that they didn't have any for sale. Big disapointment for us as they said that had a variety to choose from.

Most donuts are deep-fried and, due to the additional fire and safety requirements, some bakeries do not have deep fryers.

The sell Krispy Kremes. I believe they have glazed and chocolate glaze... but I don't know about jelly.
