We will be staying in the BCV our first time next year. Since we are in this DVC thing for the long haul, I do not feel like I have to rush to the parks every day. In fact, I am looking forward to a much slower paced trip. Anyway, I wish:

That we could go into the parks just for a meal without having to use up a day of our passes. Or maybe Disney could come up with an evening only pass, that say resort guests could come in for the last say 2 -3 hours of the day. Just wishing::yes::

And your wish?

Being able to stroll into a park just for a nice meal is one reason we have APs. Like so many other members, I wish we got a small discount on all ticket media and not just the UHP. At least something similar to what the MKC/DC received. But, I do enjoy some of the lunchtime dining discounts we get...so I guess it work out. And I occasionally use the valet parking, but since we always stay at OKW, we don't get a lot of benefit from it. I think the free passes in the early years kind of spoiled us :)

There are plenty of good places to eat outside the parks, the best are in the resorts themselves, no park entry needed. I would like to see a no ride ticket issued to go into the parks but that would never happen, ride attendants would have to check everyone for a ride ticket. When at BCV you are surronded by good restaurants including the Swan. Enjoy DVC.:D

Our points allow us to go twice a year and I try to schedule our trips so we get two, maybe three in a 12 month period. So PAPs make the best sense to us. We just don't renew them. We just get new vouchers everytime we head back and the old ones have expired.

We do the same as Deb and Bill, only we get regular APs. I think your idea would be similar to the Florida residents late day passes.

We have the same strategy: 2+ visits on the AP, then we just don't worry if we just go for dinner, or stay at the resort a day or two. And quite frankly, an AP every other year strikes me as a pretty decent discount (could work out to 30%-50%, depending on how you stagger it). Heck, with the APs we're buying in November this year, we have firm plans to get as many as 20 days admission out of them in a 12 month period. Then we'll take a stretch off (we'll need it).

Hmm, DVC wish tho would be an affordable GV (like OKW) that was either all on one level or had an elevator. 6 yr old DS is wheechair bound, and with him crossing the 50 lb level, carrying him up stairs is a less attractive alternative. I'd love to get the whole family together at WDW (or VB for that matter) but BWV and SSR GVs are a bit rich for our meagre 305 pts; OKW would work for the point cost, but the facility will not acommodate our needs, as far as I know.

.... with the AP's, but to be honest, I feel like I'm obligated to use them in order to justify buying them. While we still love the parks, we don't feel a need to spend much time in them, yet we always dine at least three times in Epcot each trip. If it weren't for the need to have park media in order to eat dinner in Epcot, we'd be tempted to buy a PHP pass since those never expire.
