What was the title? That is the strangest thing. The OP expected to say her (or his?) piece and not have anybody respond or at least disagree. That's not now it works and I called her on it. That's right- the OP kept posting, "I'm done now." Fine. Be done. No one agrees with you.

And the title was something to do with "I don't understand..." and then she says it's a PSA that has gone horribly wrong. Sorry- a Public Service Announcement is a fact, or a warning, not YOUR OPINION.

I was so irritated. I mean, I get where she was coming from, but the logic is silly.

And if she wanted to post her opinion, that's fine, but to act like everyone is wrong for not agreeing and then to change the title and go away when they didn't agree is pretty stupid. Hmmm, I'm feeling pretty snarky today. I would really hate for people not to notice her thread.

The thing is, it's not like I go into a poster's grieving pet thread and post tons of pictures of cute animals. THAT would be mean.
My dog, as cute as I think he is, was in my sig before I posted on such a thread. It never ever crossed my mind that my picture may be causing someone pain.

EXACTLY. But when people tried to say- hey, when I'm trying to express my sympathy, I usually forget I even have that pic in my siggie!

No one is doing it to be mean, and I am sure they would get the boot if they were.

But like I said- I have been planning to get pregnant for wellover a year- and I totally have preg-dar (like radar or gaydar but for pregnant people and people with babies in RL) - but no one in RL is sheltering me from pregnant people or babies. ANd it would be silly for me to aks everyone, complete strangers included, not to tell me about their pregnancy, or ask them to hide their pregnant bellies or their babies, so as to not hurt my feelings.

It's overboard.
