Don't ya love it when someone that knows nothing about Disney thinks they know more..

A friend of mine kept insisting there was a rollercoaster inside the golf ball at Epcot. Told her it was a "slow-moving vehicle" and all about the ride, but Nooooo. She knew what she was talking about, had read all about it and seen clips on a video. So, I let it go.

Then she got back and said, "You were right."

As if I ever doubted it! :banana:

An old neighbor/mom of one of Ds's old friends insisted she knew everything about WDW but had never been.
She couldn't believe we were taking the kids there. After all her aunt/uncle and grown cousins went every Jan so it couldn't be child friendly.

A few yrs later her father took her son down to stay in the uncles RV for a few days.
Then of course the neighbor thought she knew everything.
She insisted her uncle had one pass that got her son into WDW/SW/USO
After questioning her over and over I called her son into the room. Seems she decided he didn't know/made up the names of the parks he went to, so for her
MK=WDW
AK=SW
MGM=USO

I have some relatives who also think they know everything.

Because their son lives in the Orlando area and they go to WDW pretty frequently.

When I asked if they had bought AP's, since they would use them a lot, they told me, of course not, we don't live in Florida!! I said, oh, I know there is a special resident pass, but I'm talking about the regular Annual Pass.
They told me there is no such thing :confused3 :rotfl: :sad2:

Have I told you about my sister................... :yay:

Brothers.

They just know everything about everything, now don't they?

:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I did tell my son, who was roller coaster phobic, that the big golf ball was an upside down roller coaster, but only for every other car (since I was bringing his then toddler brother in the car in back of him). :rotfl2: Gee, I wonder why he didn't want to get on the ride! BTW, this son now LOVES coaster, so I didn't traumatize him for life. :teeth:

You probably weren't reading the thread one time when my other son asked my if the spicy peppers that are in Chinese food are edible. Of course they are not poisonous... Now that's "bad mommy". :blush: But it's one of our favorite family stories now :teeth:

I had one teacher at work tell another that "of course there are disney buses that will take you to Universal. They go everywhere."

:rolleyes: :lmao: :rolleyes:
