Hi everyone,

We are going to DLP for two nights and I don't want to break my diet !! Can anyone help with places to eat please?

My diet is High protein, consisting of mainly Chicken, Beef, Fish, eggs !!

Also we are staying at Dream Castle with breakfast incluced... does anyone know if eggs are on the breakfast buffet?

Thanks alot guys.... and REALLY sorry if this was a silly thing to ask on here !!

I'm pretty sure you will be able to find somewhere enjoyable to eat and still be good to yourself diet-wise.

The foods that you desribed (Chicken, Beef, Fish, Eggs) sound typical Frontierland to me (what with steakhouse and western themed food) so it's worth having a look at menus around there?

You could also take a look at Blue Lagoon in Adventureland which would have fish on the menu - along with the Californian Grill in the Disneyland Hotel.

Sorry I'm not able to help further - perhaps take a look on http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/ at the menus and bits which might be helpful in your planning?

Bon Apetit !

Thanks Adam,

That was very helpful.... I hadn't thought about eating at the hotels but I think I'll be giving the Disneyland hotel a try!

Thanks again

You're more than welcome! :goodvibes

It could be within your best interest as soon as you work out where you want to eat, to call Disney Reservations and make some restaurant reservations so that you're gaurenteed a table and timeslot that suits you best...

I spent days going through the dlpfoodguide website choosing places me and my family would enjoy eating then we called Disney and made reservations for the restaurants (both in park and hotels) that we liked the look of. It was so easy to do and just took the worry off getting a table when we were there... :wizard:

They had scrambled eggs when we stayed at the Dream Castle & I think they had hard boiled eggs with the ham & salad stuff:goodvibes

Remember as well you will be doing an awful lot of walking at DLP and the extra exercise helps with the diet - I lost 2.5lbs the first time we were there when I was on my diet, and maintained the second time (when I wasn't as organised to take fruit with me!). I had pizza at Cafe Mickey both times, but didn't have pudding, saving syns (I'm doing Slimming World) for a glass of wine in the evening.
Have a great time!
