Don't want new magic bands, just don't customize?

Hello,
We are headed down again over spring break. We are AP holders, and along with those bands we have 20 others (divided amongst the four of us). I really don't want another set. If I don't customize them, will they just give us gray ones (which I will decline) when we check in, or will they send gray ones? Or what happens here?

Just don't customize the magic bands. You will receive notice that your magic bands will be waiting for you at your hotel. I've had some check-ins where they do offer the gray bands, some that haven't, and one check-in in which I had to request the gray bands (DD wanted a gray one and so I just didn't customize it) but the box was all ready for us. When you check-in they just have you place your old band on the scanner to make sure it is working.

I was told in December that if you call the Tech support people that they have the ability to stop the shipment entirely, so they won't be waiting for you at all.

Just call and say you want to refuse the Magicbands and use yours so none get wasted. ya know, being eco-friendly and schiit.
